I like this game.

Unfortunately Rising Storm 2 did not meet my expectations of a long time Red Orchestra 2 veteran.

RS2 at it's launch contains an insane amout of bugs uncluding a large number of bugs that have been around ever since RO2 came out (so 6 years ago)

RS2 still suffers from many gameplay issues that somehow are ignored by the developers.

Overall I think they tried too hard to reinvent the formula, to make this game as different from RO2 as possible while still being very similar. They overengineered several features, which leads to even more issues. They also removed some of the perfectly fine RO2's features.

Overall I am very, very disappointed, but I still hope that one day RS2 will have be a decent game. But at this point, knowing the very slow rate of progress since Alpha, I am afraid it will take months if not years to fix this game.

For now I would rather recommend everyone to try Red Orchestra 2 instead and wait RS2 gets completed. Because right now 'Nam feels like an early access game.

One of the best games of 2016. If you are a fan of Commandos or Desperados or pretty much any Real Time Tactics games, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is an absolute must-play.
