Played this game up to the final boss, twice. Both in co-op and solo, about 8 hours of that was with steam in offline mode, so a play through is roughly 20 hours long.
I went through twice because quests you complete in multiplayer do not count as completed in your own game, so I had to do them again to get to the end boss in single player, because it was broken in multiplayer.

The good :
Playing through twice did showcase the procedural world generation nicely, encountering different bosses and acquiring different gear on both of those runs. Which is the good part of the game, there's a decent selection of guns and special abilities, the controls and gun play is also not bad.

The bad :
But because of that randomness, there's a chance you won't get weapons or abilities you actually want to use.

The Ugly :
The end of the game was clearly rushed, probably because the Devs ran out of time or money. But now 6 months after release seem to have made no attempt to fix the final boss fight. And the bit before that is just 2 empty areas.

I want to add a bit of context to the often echo'd grinding complaint about Warframe:

Warframe is a lot like Pokemon games.
You can beat the elite 4 with just a decent set of 6 pokemon (weapon, offhand, melee, frame, companion, wings).

But the game tells you that your actual goal should be to catch them all.
Just like in Pokemon, if you actually wanna do that you are in for quite a lot of work and trading.

There are even eggs you can hatch to try and get shiny variants of regular gear that has a very tiny stat advantage over the non prime-gear.

Warframe is totally like Pokemon in everything except the gameplay.

I love Rift and I wish I had more people to play it with me (on Wolfsbane), because the Split Infinity guild has all moved to Wildstar.
What is Rift? Rift is kind of a WoW clone, it is a solid MMO that is also completely free to play, even the expantion content is free.

What I like better than WoW is the diversity, by mixing and matching souls you can redesign your own class to make things like rogue tanks, ranged warriors or melee mages. That is the feature I like most because it keeps me interested, bored of DPSing? Get an extra role and swap between DPS and healer whenever you'd like, untill you get bored of that and get another role slot for a support or tank build.

This is not the blend of Spectacle Fighter and MMO I was hoping it to be, it attempts to be, but it reacts slightly to clunky, animations are slightly too long causing the dodge ability to never be available when needed.

It is certainly cute, but not really worth the time.

I really like this game, it takes me back to where I first got into gaming, in the days of Arcanum and Fallout 1.
Its old school turn based combat, which is also old school challenging. Most impressive is, I think, that it delivers it's story without walls of text and without voice acting.

Only downside is, that costing only a third of an $60 game, it is only a third of the length of fallout or Arcanum. But with stuff made using the editor already appearing on steam workshop, I hope that will soon be remedied with a wealth of free DLC.
