I have played the game for 3 hours now at this point and probably another 2 when it was on a weekend test beta before launch. I honestly love the game in it's cartoony/ wacky way it presents itself and how entertaining all the modes can be.
On the topic of modes some are team games where you and others are working toghether to have the most points to continue playing more rounds. However if you end up losing most of the time you will probably want to blame others or something as you cannot say as to how your team performed and thus cannot prove how you did in comparison.
The modes that the game can throw you into usually only need a sentence at most to explain what you need to do to play. Such as race to the end, have more tails on your team than the opponents, or don't touch the slime. Each one is usually quite fun and I'm sure you'll find one you dislike but with around 20 modes as of now hopefully you don't run into that one too often.

gameplay boils down to doing what you can to meet the goal of the round before your opponents and upon reaching the final of usually 5 rounds be the overall winner. As for controls there are really only a few that you can do, run(no sprinting or ability to go faster), jump, dive forward and grab/climb. these controls are easy to figure out and are friendly enough for I imagine for all ages. It all depends on your ability to learn how to use these in order to actually progress though as jumping while climbing a angle will lead you to falling or maybe leaving you just out of reach of where you needed to land.

music is to me at least something reminiscent of Splatoon basically just a usually happy tune with gibberish sprinkled in to make a enjoyable soundtrack.

Currency: this game does have optional microtransactions for the game's main currency of a purple coin called Kudos. you can get this by either purchasing it with cash or earning it with gameplay. The second currency in the game is crowns these you earn by both leveling up occasionally will give you 1 or if you manage to beat all your opponents and win all 5 rounds you can earn 1 crown. Both currencies are used to purchase in game costumes/cosmetics to dress up your character but provide no bonuses to the actual gameplay.

Overall Yes I highly recommend this game as its a battle royale about basically having fun. If you lose or win it's extremely quick to be able to jump into another round and try again. I believe the company who made the game is fairly small so they seem to be having issues with servers still at the moment but they have improved significantly so I think now is a good time to try the game yourself. Especially with steams ability to refund in 2 hours which will give you a good amount of time to play multiple rounds and decide if the game is for you.

I understand many people may find this game fun but my experience was spread over I think around a week from launch. The game is basically running levels over and over to get resources to get upgrades or cosmetics as was mostly the case as far as I could tell. Every class you play seemed to get their own upgrade or level tree and could be customizable to some extent.
However during my time playing some levels could last up to an hour as most people split up or go AFK causing the team dynamic to fall apart. Splitting up usually caused issues as you have to dump your resources you mine into a mobile mine cart that will store it all till the end of the level. However if people are spread out mining they are all calling molly(the mine cart) to them causing it to constantly try to get to whoever called it last.
There wasn't any communication I could tell with my team occasionally one person would use the ping option but those were not common. After each run is completed everyone returns to the hub and it seems the most common thing to do is to quickly leave the lobby and try to find another as usually at least 2 people would leave every time.
As for the actual gameplay when I found myself in one of the hordes or the run to the exit on a timer I had fun but the rest was just tedious to me and I didn't really enjoy it. Since most people would leave at the end of the round I would close the game and do something else as at the time it seemed hard to get more than 1 person quickly when starting a mission on my own and I don't know if they can but nobody ever joined while I was sitting in the hub.
For me at least I wanted to enjoy the game as I have played games like this that I liked but after my last session I start steam and see the game and always decide I don't want to play it. I wish I could have realized it sooner and got a refund but by that time I was already at my current playtime. I haven't checked the updates that I imagine have come out or tried the game since launch so things could very well be different and maybe I will try the game again in the future and change this review but for now I have no urge to play this game so I could not recommend it.

Pistol Whip is a fantastic game for to have as an intro to VR and after. I have a few hours of playtime some of it was letting others play. This game is a great way to get a workout as well as if you are like me and the few I convinced to play you will be moving all over dodging bullets and walls. Each song is a workout and even more so once you put it onto hard difficulty where the game just throws more enemies at you which will cause you to move around even more. (I played for about an hour not too long ago on a new level and woke up the next day to my legs aching from all the crouching I kept doing)

Yes the game is fairly short if you play each song a single time however the game has multiple modifiers to add variety to how you play. However if your like me you may sometimes just have the urge to feel like your in the Matrix or John Wick for a bit and will play to just have some fun. According to the devs who have been keeping this game updated and adding to it there should be more added in later this year.

A great tool to use animated backgrounds. I just wish there was a way to put which ones to keep in your list of wallpapers without having to install them so I could download them again later if I wanted them back.

If you can get this on sale its definitly worth the money as its short and sweet. Takes about 3-4 hours to complete if you just rush things and only slow down on the plot portions. However the plot and the item combos are the main things to keep you going.

I really loved this game!! I was abit iffy when i first bought this as I was unsure of the acting and such. However I was extremely impressed on how challenging and interesting this game was. The game does leave some wants such as maybe a slightly easier way to see the clues you've covered. But all in all I would extremely recommend that if your into story and interesting charecters this is a definite buy.

Cons:
Some mouse issues (but were easily fixed by leaving the conversation then starting it again)

Although it sounds quite boring simply checking papers to make sure that people can pass or not, the game is actually quite fun. with funny moments and abit of story such as repeat charecters, terrorist attacks, and the struggle of making enough money to care for your family.

Papers,Please is a very fun game for what it is especially made by a single guy. I love this game although the only fault i have with it is sometimes I dont know what I did wrong or when i feel overwhelmed simply by all the stuff i have to check but at the same time the rush of wanting to hurry and be through. But then again thats why I like this game because you have to be fast and get people done with but at the same time you have to be careful.

A fantastic game with a fairly simple story but the charecters and just variety of enemies that you have to learn how to fight is a challenge, add to that the platforming with it steadily increasing difficulty and hidden collectibles that are actually useful. Its hard to say anything bad about this game. music and pacing is wonderful and for me its a quite nice to look at with all of its various art and colors. Also be on the look out for meme and other game references galore in the background when in towns.
