Avoided this game since launch for obvious reason. Finally finished it and was a hell of a ride. It won me over in the end, loved the characters and the story, glad I gave it a second chance!

Buddy Simulator 1984 is an experience.

If you're remotely interested in navigating through old school DOS-like operating system text adventures, 2D side scrollers from the 90s, or early pseudo-3D games while juggling the underlying feelings of unease and uncertainty this game throws at you, you will NOT be disappointed.

I found myself replaying it just to see all the different outcomes and secrets, each and every aspect was incredible AND rewarding.


Wish I could play it for the first time again <3
