Such a pleasure to play. Awesome voice acting, great art style, and a plot that actually makes sense. Its actually possible for the player to figure out who the murderer is by piecing together the clues, without some crazy unrealistic out of the blue plot twist at the end. I definitely recommend this one.

The sound design in this game is absolutely awful. Its actually painful to listen to. There will be a phone ringing, or a baby crying endlessly as you run through all rooms in the house trying to find the source. The walls don't muffle sound, and the falloff is extremely gradual so you cant tell where the sound is coming from so you're subjected to the ear piercing sound of a crying baby as you scour every inch of all the the rooms in the 3 story house trying to find it. Not only that but the game has you use a mirror to see the rooms differently through its reflection, so not only are you searching each room once, but twice because some clues can only be seen through the mirror. The character breathes heavily after 1 second of sprinting, but if you're not sprinting you move extremely slowly so that's another piece of audio spam constantly plaguing your ears. Everything else about this game is terrible too, but the audio grievances stand out to me the most.

A short but sweet puzzle game that's clearly had a lot of love put into it by the developers. Really cool "escape the room" type experience, with a great art style. The initial playthrough took about 20 minutes, and the rest of my playtime was spent collecting all the achievements which were sort of like mini puzzles! Overall a very enjoyable experience, and a huge thank you to the dev team for sharing this with us for free :)

A short enjoyable bullet battle. I wouldn't consider this game a shooter, its more of a thread the needle type deal. You tactically make your way through the levels, looking for the best angles to take out enemies while staying protected. Fun level design, and interesting weapon variety. Can almost be played in a stealthy manner at certain points.

Early Access Review
The characters and racing mechanics are extremely fun. Every character has separate abilities and racing styles, and each course has multiple different track layouts, both of which provide for tons of variety. If youre not hung up on grinding for every cosmetic item known to mankind and just enjoy the gameplay, you'll have a great time.

When playing local games (ie. Couch play with friends, the main reason to play a racing game like this imo,) all the characters are already unlocked, so you dont even need to grind em.

The soundtrack is absolutely killer. Each course has epic remixes of the songs from the movie it's based on. I found myself in a constant state of hype listening to them while speeding around the tracks.

Pretty much all of the negative reviews are based on the price model. The actual racing, character, and gameplay mechanics are fantastic. So just enjoy the ride without worrying about whether or not your licence plate is purple or red, and you'll find this to be a truly fun racing game.

I would give this a meh if that was an option. Pretty much the same as all the other games in the franchise, but this one's got a few interactive puzzles in it. These were all pretty fun and intuitive, aside from a single eternal. You have to toggle night mode (keybind = N) which is mentioned literally nowhere in the game but rather on the store page?!?!? It's especially dumb for Steam Deck users (which is what I played this on) as no button is set to the N key, so it'd be literally impossible to randomly stumble upon the eternal without going into the controller config. I had to look at a guide and tbh I don't even feel bad about it after reading the solution. At least make note of the mechanic somewhere in-game, because who the heck is going to resort to the store page when they cant find the last one? Ruined the game for me.

The game does't go nearly as in depth as other games in the genre such as Stardew Valley, and if sorta feels like you're doing the same stuff over and over again in order to expand the village. But it's relaxing nonetheless, it has a really peaceful vibe, and it has a cool functionality what allows you to build custom furniture pieces from the ground up.

After waiting over a year for the game to go on sale, I finally said screw it.
The developers are extremely stingy and lazy, the only reason this game is so massive is because of the amazing community behind it. Custom FREE maps are significantly better than the official ones, and there's an infinite list to choose from.
You're forced to pay $30 for a game in which you seldom interact with any of the content that Beat Games provides. There are so few songs in the vanilla game, and the DLC is extremely expensive. Why doesn't the dev team freelance some of the phenomenal artists from the modding discord server to create hundreds of new songs and amazing maps, which they can then include in the base game for free?
The developers are raking in millions of dollars off the blood sweat and tears put in by countless talents in the modding community. (Again, mods are the entire reason for the game's success.) The least they could do to give back is make their vanilla game at least somewhat worth the purchase if they refuse to go on sale.

PS: There are many free alternatives such as Moon Rider for those who don't want to pay $30.

Its a fun game. Gets annoying at the end when you're running around collecting everything and random encounters keep appearing. The player so strong by that point that its almost impossible to die, so the encounters just hinder the gameplay.

One of, if not the best story-driven games in existence
