♥♥♥♥ this game!
Choix!
Shields!
Creep ripping through not one but TWO shields, despite the fact the shield is supposed to stop the creep from progressing.
I've tried various strategies using the shields, normally running out of energy before getting anywhere close to using the nulifier, you can't tell me this is possible when the shields may as well not exist (I know others have done this level and good for them, at least they managed to have a working game that didn't ♥♥♥♥ them over because it wanted to).
Seriously, go ♥♥♥♥ it!

Early Access Review
This game, is something similiar to what I've been looking for in a sandbox game. If you like minecraft for starters then you may well like this, if you also have a thing for sci-fi/space type games then again, you may well like this.
Building ships is always a dream of any player when the possibility exists, how you build those ships however is where the fun kicks in. There is a bit of a grind as you need to mine the materials to build said ships but it's well worth it in the end. Small ships so far have proven to be the most fun, big ships not so much (but then again, my designing skills aren't the best).

If there is anything I would recommend you do with this game is play with friends, although playing on your own is just as fun, you'll get more done quicker with friends and you can make your projects a hell of a lot bigger too.

It also may only be early access at the moment but that just means bigger and better things are yet to come.

Edit:

So, having read the original review I gave this game, I'm afraid I've now got to head in the opposite direction for my review (at least, at this moment in time).

I play this game on and off a lot and when I play it, I can play for 8 hour stretches at a time, usually more 3-4 hours and I've played about 94 hours of this (according to steam) and you know what....I'm not having fun anymore. I'll give you the reason(s) why I'm no longer having fun playing this game.

Planets!

Yes, something that the majority of the community seems to love and I enjoy them as well as it's something new and there's already a solid ground in place, you don't need to try and build one in space.
Now, the reason why I'm no longer happy because of the planets is the same problem I have almost every time I fire the game up. I start a new world with a habitable planet, no enemies or npcs or anything, I like to take my time and be casual about it. So I get in a ship, enter orbit, then proceed to plummit to the ground like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dart. Okay, that's actually my bad, I'm not used to planets (still) and forget you need atmospheric thrusters, ok so we take the big lander with the big ass thrusters, ok!
I take this machination and steadily (though not gracefully) land it and proceed to set about setting up solar panels. So far so good, ok, need new resources, ore detector on the lander doesn't see anything and range is set at 150m (max). Anything. At all. So I did the only other thing I could, I cheated and switched on creative mode, built myself a small aircraft with ore detector and drill and set about flying off. Did I find anything? Yes, Ice and lots of it (frozen lakes are kinda a dead giveaway) but other than that, squat.

My planets seem to be broken. I don't use mods as I like games the way they were made (rarely do I ever even attempt to install mods) so it's nothing I've done additionally to break the game. I absolutely loved this game and would get lost in it when it was just space and asteroids to mine from. Now, don't get me wrong, I could still just load up one of those worlds and do that instead which would be fine, but, what's the point of having a feature such as planets and not using them or even attempt to use them, honestly, they should work at any time, even if I have no interest in actually using them. I mean, I've not even used every feature of this game (such as pistons, rotors, hanger doors, etc) but I didn't need them to enjoy the game, certainly they will probably enhance my game if I get my head around them but even so, planets will still be a problem.

So would I recommend this game now, well, If I've played 94 hours of it, know how to mine resources, how to build ships and how to get the most out of asteroid jumping to gather resources for said ship and I don't want to play it anymore, then the answer for the time being is likely going to be no, I couldn't recommend the game to someone else unless they promised to never touch a planet and simply stick with asteroids, I'd only caution them then, but, overall I won't be recommending this for the foreseeable future.
