Great DLC from start to finish, and for $10 it's honestly worth the price if you enjoy the world and story of Atomic Heart. Though is is a bit short (~4-5ish hours on normal difficulty, with fully exploring everything), I think it hits every beat needed to really stand out as another solid entry to the game.

Story wise it was very interesting, getting to learn more about the facilities and experiments is great (and one of my personal favorite aspects of the game in general).

New weapons/abilities are fun, unique, and look badass as ever. I especially enjoyed the new grapple ability, was very enjoyable swinging around, dodging attacks. I must admit I did not use the blaze ability as much as I probably should have, but when I did, it was also quite fun.

Locations and world are amazing, this DLC clearly had some inspiration from Bioshock, and that is not a bad thing by any means. The locations looked great, felt fun to explore, and kept the much loved wacky environmental storytelling you'd expect from Mundfish.

New enemies and bosses were challenging, but not so difficult you feel like breaking a keyboard, and anyone familiar with this game or others with similar combat could easily finish the DLC in one sitting without ragequitting.

Last but not least, the music was amazing as always, though that is to be expected. Mundfish always knocks it out of the park with their sound design, and this DLC was no exception.

TLDR:

Overall DLC #3 was fun, challenging, and a hell of a great ride from start to finish, and I greatly look forward to what Mundfish has in store for us going forward.

Story: 9/10
New Weapons/Abilities: 10/10
Locations/Environment: 10/10
New Enemies/Bosses: 8/10
Music: Hell Yeah/10

Overall: 9.5/10

Great addition to an already great title, solid story, new enemy variations are fun yet still challenging, music is superb as always, and overall gameplay feels just as good as the base story. And for only $10 it's definitely worth the money. If you enjoyed the story of Atomic Heart, you'll most likely enjoy Annihilation Instinct as well.

Great gameplay, great writing, great environments, no major issues off the bat. 10/10 feels complete even in early access.

Been hyped since the initial 2017 reveal, and after all these years was not let down at all. Amazing game that lived up to my expectations, and in many aspects exceeded it. 100% would recommend.

Only made it to chapter 4 so far, but as a huge fan of the original, this remaster has far surpassed my expectations. Major improvements have been made to nearly every aspect of the game, in a way that can entertain new and old players alike. One of the few instances in my experience where a remaster as good, if not better than the original release.

I rarely consider a game or series to be 10/10, but The Walking Dead is definitely an exception. As far as interactive fiction with choices that matter and heavy focus on character relationships goes, Telltale and Skybound definitely have that ♥♥♥♥ on lock. Every episode manages to keep your attention, and have you eager for more. Definitely recommend.

Been my fav game since I got in for the 360 back in like 2011/12, Game still holds up immensely, even without mods. Only even slightly negative comment I have is that the game IS prone to crashing often, so I'd recommend quicksaving before and after entering/exiting locations + randomly throughout your travels.

At the time of writing this I currently have around 3 hours on the game. But in those 3 hours I can tell you that overall the game is extremely fun! It is also very hard. This game is definitely not for you if you are expecting a run and gun or lone wolf war shooter. The main point of this game is to work as a team to capture the objectives, kills are not the main goal. Lives can be long or short, sometimes you won't even find an enemy for a few minutes. For example; I played on Utah beach as the Germans, none of my teammates had placed down an OP (outpost), and our Garrisons were gone. I had to spawn at our HQ. It took me 5 minutes to run all the way to where my team was being engaged. I died quite quick. This sucked, I spent 5 minutes trying to engage and immediately died, but that's just how the game is played. It is more intense then Insurgency in the way that the realism works with minimum HUD and damage. Even though it is a very hard game to play, it is some of the most fun I have had in a WW2 FPS in a long while! This is what Battlefield 5 should have been. One bad thing I can say, and this is not even terrible, is that the variety of customization is low. In games like COD or Battlefield there are many guns to choose from, mainly the weirder ones from WW2. HLL takes a different approach to this by only having a set selection from each side of the war. It is more historically accurate in that way, but it does definitely make customization hard. Fun game! Would Recommend.

Pretty Damn fun! It is more realistic than most FPS games I play. With a minimalistic HUD, which only displays your inventory and mag count, and the no pop up kill indicator (besides the chat kill feed) it makes for a very unique and fun experience to play around in with friends, or randoms!
