I was able to restore my save partially due to dev reply. it turned my NG+ save to a non NG+ though so I lost my cloaking device on that file. but now I've played some of the dlc and its got some really bad bugs. the first store you get to after the gas station the guards can wall hack you and not only see you through a few walls in the building, but taze you through them as well. need to do another pass and fix these bugs.

Early Access Review
I like the game and all but I do want to just get this out there as an early access criticism that the shop level stuff is kind of annoying, it feels like deliberate time wasting as I've been out of new licenses to buy or much of anything to do and all I have left is to wait for the shop level to tick over so I can get the new thing, whatever that ends up being. I am not sure how to fix this but as it stands I've just closed the game before cause I didn't feel like putting in the arbitrary time needed to increase shop level at that time.

While the Concept is neat, the game is wall to wall bots. The top ranks are nothing but bots. Really takes the enjoyment out of the game knowing you will never top rank in the game cause you're only human, meanwhile even the low end of the top has 100k or more tiles done in a 24 hour period.

Never ever going to be worth the $90 they are asking. Simply does what an item in the game already does, but faster. this basically makes the clothes see through, which an item in the game already does, but that item requires you to focus on the spot for a few moments, while this does it instantaneously. If you desperately need this. isthereanydeal is your friend.

Actually a very fun game, the worst part about the game really is its name sake mechanic and performance issues.
the "one armed" aspect really sucks in later levels with massive amounts of loot and the fact you need to pack each bag manually, it takes one of the worst parts of payday series and magnifies it. Peformance wise I have screen tearing/scanlines when playing and because of how the game tracks loot physics heists like Black Diamond Casino are pretty much rendered unplayable when going for full clean-outs as your frame rate will tank to single digits.

Despite all this this is a great free game, and willing to toss a few bucks to get more heists if they keep adding more and can tighten up the performance.

Probably the best of the STP pushers, the theme is nice, the environment is pretty and it carries a lot of lessons learned from past games. You can't mess up your team mates at all any more, Old coin pusher friends 1 pretty much was there with this, but the edges of the catcher boxes were solid so you could still slightly mess each other up. Finally this is not the case so you are just working together and not messing each other up at all.

The bosses are fun to fight and the magatama collection system works, its fun to progress. The only downside is this is probably the longest of the STP pushers to 100% as killing a level 60 yokai takes quite a long time, at least the journey is fairly entertaining.

I really tried to enjoy this but the experience is very lacking. it has neat ideas and a fairly pretty presentation but many of its ideas just fell short and others just are sort of left hanging like they didn't know how they wanted to finish it.

The map grid concept, while neat at first and the game's unique leg to stand on, ends up getting extremely annoying due to the biome transition pieces and being unable to really link things together cleaverly unless you massively plan in advance. The mountain tiles are also pretty much worthless as you cannot walk through them in any way, so this "band aid" tile to connect drastically different biomes really doesn't help you at all. Also the fact you need to spawn new tiles to do the bounty board quests is highly irritating resulting in highly cluttered maps that you'll need to delete tiles from constantly.

On the topic of the bounty board, this was clearly made to try to deal with the games' somewhat lacking in things to do with tasks and rewards. This didn't really work as its extremely grindy to progress the bounty board past level 10 cause the exp for clearing bounties doesn't keep up with the curve at all, I think I got into the early 30s and there was still rewards to be earned but I sort of had enough at that point and couldn't make myself bother with it any further, the combat really didn't help with this as melee combat has such a terrible delay and clunky-ness to it its very hard to use, and ranged needs a lot of time wasting farming to build up stocks of ammo. Not saying its impossible to do combat in this game, just its got a very high learning curve you have to adjust to that doesn't feel very rewarding.

Lastly the story..... God this story practically goes nowhere, and it felt extremely pretentious. Being pretty much the chosen one for no real reason to solve a problem out of time and space that really goes as quick as it came, it felt extremely anticlimatic and rushed. like it was trying to reach an end as quick as it could. I dunno if this game was ever in early access, but it certainly feels like it was and tried to be a 1.0 just to say it was and be done with it

I dunno, there's worse games than this certainly, but this really wasn't as good as I hoped. its definitely never a full price game. The sale would have to be extremely good if you bother.

I thought about recommending this as a discount bin game, cause the game does have some quirky charm and is fun for an afternoon. but the bugs made me decide against that. The game barely works at times, and only gets worse over time.

Several reviews and forum posts complain about invisible customers. Yes that's real but they honestly pale in comparison to two worse customer glitches. There's customers that use the second floor that just get stuck running into walls, which render whatever station they are next to useless till you come up and knock them out, which often makes the parts to the station scatter and you have to set everything else up again, also you don't collect any payment from them, this only seemed to happen with VR stations. The other, far far worse glitched customer, is the one that walks through your cafe to a station with his hand held out with money you can't collect. he has solid collision during this meaning if you stations are all setup in a row like well... an internet cafe would be, he knocks them all over on the way to the station he wants to use forcing you again, to setup everything again... for multiple stations. I've had half of my first floor uprooted from one of these glitched customers before, its very irritating.

There's other really bad glitches that render other aspects of the game pretty much unusable like warcry often glitching itself out of existence to the point only a full restart of the main game fixes it, and even if it stays working its auto farm hack tool is pretty much worthless with the massive pauses it takes you hardly kill anything at all. All the minigames from Kawaii are worthless to play since the currency from it is glitched that it takes away money from you to sell it rather than gain. Also you may as well just aim to put in maxed out stations in your cafe as soon as you can cause there's no dynamics like customer income to take into consideration, you don't have to balance expensive stations and cheap stations. Lastly, the game really makes your pc work hard for entirely no reason, I have all frame rate limiters on and yet I hear my fans kick on full bore constantly like I am playing the most intense AAA game out there.

I dunno. get this free or in a deep deep sale (like $3 or so) and it can entertain for an afternoon, otherwise stay far far away.
