Ahoy～ I'm Zealon!

I'm just your everyday quirky and uncoordinated netizen. You'll be quick to learn that I don't have much to boast about as I spend more time working than I do gaming nowadays, but I do still enjoy my fair share of RPGs! As for what I regularly play, you'll typically find me playing either Final Fantasy X|V or Guild Wars 2, as I tend to flip between the two throughout the years, but that's not to say I'll be on them all the time. Burnout is real.

I used to be a lot more hardcore when it came to the games I played, but as my carpal tunnel continued to worsen from a mixture of competitive play as well as from my line of work (curse you C, I knew you would be bad for me one day), my desire to be competitive began to weaken. I have since made adjustments to accommodate the condition, such as switching from traditional peripherals to more ergonomic ones, but I fear that because I held off from doing so too long that the damage is already past the point of no return; all I can do now is prevent things from getting any worse, which has led me to some real funky mice and keyboards in the past.

My social battery is also pretty low these days—so please forgive me if I turn into a recluse every so often. I prefer hanging out in group environments as opposed to having one-on-one encounters, as it allows me the opportunity to slip out of conversations when my energy has been depleted, as well as feeling like too much of the conversation rides on what I say or do, which is why you'll usually find me on discord in any number of channels just enjoying the company of others and never feel obligated to talk the entire time. But, it doesn't mean we can't have a nice chat every once in a while!
