One of my favorite games of all time. Great story, engaging gameplay, fun co-op.

Kitfox and Bay 12 have made a faithful adaptation of the ascii classic with some nice additions and some beautiful artwork.

As a long-time player and speedrunner, I can recognize that it's the same wild and crazy world simulator that I love, but is much more accessible to a larger audience. This absolutely massive game would be well worth much more and is a steal at $30 USD. I can't recommend it enough.

Welcome to the fortress, Greenbeards. With stout labor comes sustenance, so strike the earth!

If you liked peggle and like roguelikes, this game is a must-buy.

For everyone else, I'd say it's still worth the purchase. The game is fun and the developers are active, continuing to add new content and balancing the existing stuff. They've done quite a good job so far, in my opinion. The game's difficulty scaling is customizable to the point where you can make the game tough but fair.

TLDR: I've immensely enjoyed my time with Peglin, and I expect you would too.

I've tried several of the 4X Space games, and Stellaris is by far the best one. It has its slow moments, and it's dangerously addicting (somehow I've got the one-more-turn mentality going, even though it's not turn based), but if you like space or 4X games, it's a worthwhile choice.
It is fairly expensive and the game is pretty empty without the various DLCs.
Oh, and download some mods! There are some good ones that really flesh out the universe.

I love this game so dang much. While it's fun using the base game, there are sets of mods that make everything so much more complicated, and that's what I played with. It took over a hundred hours, but I finally launched a rocket! Play this game if you have graph paper and want factory designs to consume your mind for weeks on end.

The only reason to buy this game is if you really enjoy atmospheric piano music and pixel art. However, there are only a single-digit number of unique locations in the game, and very few ways to interact with them. Don't bother trying to click things, just wander around until something happens. You will not be able to progress the story until you've wandered around to every location a couple times.

It's basically a short movie where the majority of the time is spent watching the main character walk from one side of the screen to the next. I hope you enjoy pixel art and walking animations.
Oh, and disappointing endings. It seems like it could be a neat world, but Stranded only gives you the slightest glimpse into the world that you have crashed upon, and offers no explanation as to why things are the way they are.

Essential Tip: You can only physically interact with the things aboard your ship. And you should if you want to progress in the game.

WARNING: This game is The War Z with a new name, but the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Go buy Arma 2 and download DayZ instead. You'll thank me.

Very deep Turn-Based Strategy game. It's a lot of fun, but you have to be careful because it will suck you in and you'll lose hours upon hours.

Excellent storytelling and fun gameplay. Scenery gets a bit repetitive, but on the whole a worthwhile experience (especially after playing Dragon Age 1). Personally I had to take long breaks periodically because doing all of the sidequests each year is too much to handle. Luckily for those less patient you can stick to the main story if you desire.

It's part of the Orange Box, which will probably end up being the best video game deal of my lifetime, and on top of that I have played TF2 for almost 500 hours since its release. The amount of enjoyment I have recieved for this game, especially weighted against the minimal cost, is ridiculously higher than any other single game I have ever played...and even certain other fun things in life.
