A delightful taste of how Ryu Ga Gatoku studio keeps evolving. Like a Dragon/Judgement (formerly Yakuza) has always had a thing of same beats, new soundstage over and over and the familiar yet sleek and new feeling has yet to swing a miss, even when it became a turn-based RPG.

Closer to the older Yazuka/newer Judgement style of gameplay, LaDG offers a beat-em-up that takes some feeling around to get accustomed to laid neatly over an outside look into a rougher (slightly modern fiction adjacent due to cutscene bullets) life in Japan with dramatic flairs and violence abundant. Pair that with AN ACTUAL TON of old and new minigames to cut the serious fat with, and you have a winning combination yet again.
