I've had an incredible amount of fun playing this game with my friends! Overall, the game is excellent, although the story feels a bit short. Hopefully, additional challenges and DLCs will provide extra hours of gameplay.

Pros:

-The inclusion of friendly fire in this game adds a great layer of fun. Removing it would be a
significant mistake in game design.
-The mechanics for magic and spells are top-tier.
-The items and weapons are well-balanced and allow for different playstyles.
-The graphics and effects are visually appealing, especially considering the year it was
released.
-The world and level design are well-crafted, offering a great variety of locations.
-Encountering hordes of enemies is the most enjoyable part of the game.
-The "voice lines" were more interesting than the story itself.

Cons:
-I'm uncertain about the overall storyline, and while I understand that it was intentional, it gave me of feeling of wasting my time listening to the story.
-Some of the quick spells feel a bit overpowered.
-There's a lack of interesting boss fights. I was hoping to encounter bosses that match the
intensity of the final boss.

Stupid review - White stitch going on a short adventure, but a really good one. [Bang for the buck] [Support indie] [9/10]

Serious review (No spoiler)

[First]
First I want to say that Moon Studio did a really great job on making this game. You can clearly see that this game was made with passion and love for the characters and world-building alongside great talents in the visuals and music design.

[Story and characters - 8/10]
The story has an amazing start with the relationship between Ori (white stitch) and his friend, and you immediately fall in love with them.
Although the rest of the story feels like every “save the world” type of game it's still fun to learn about the characters and the world itself.

[Gameplay - 8/10]
Satisfying and responsive. Gameplay is pure fun and it’s exciting to see how every new ability you unlock affects enemies and the playstyle of the game.

Played on the hardest difficulty and didn't have much of a challenge until the late game section, and for a good cause, I don't think the game was supposed to be a celest or dark souls experience. Even though saving in this game is like a coin you spent so there is a punishment for stupid moves or spamming save every section.

[Graphics and visuals - 10/10 ]
Eye candy. Unique from all other platform games that are using pixel art or low poly (not saying it's not good).
The Animation in this game is top-notch. Starts with Ori and his abilities and onto the enemies and the world itself. Also, the world is beautifully designed and has a lot of diversity.

[Music and sound design - 9/10]
From the catchy main theme to the sound effects is amazing.
The music in this game truly adds to the world and the vibe of the game and everything sounds and feels right.

[Summary]
A work of art. I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but I found a unique art style and music when I started playing this game. While the plot was not a rollercoaster, the characters and their designs were great and you fell in love right away. 9/10
