Never played the original but this was really fun. I also played the little of blue shift that some modders remade. I recommend.
Edit: I played the original and wow, this mod hits even harder when you have played the original, seeing the effort that went into remaking every part of the original half life in source with great attention to detail is simply breathtaking sometimes.

Friendly AI can be real pain. Tanks will shoot all of their shell on infantry including AP shells, so when they face armor they can't do anything. Even if you decide to select the machine gun the tanks will still switch to their main gun to shoot at a single guy (worst part is that they miss most of the time). This game is cool and fun sometimes but things like this really bring it down, you constantly have to micromanage your armor so they don't waste every round on nothing. Please fix, this has caused me to rage quit on several occasion, when i find myself driving a tank that has no shell left but plenty of machine guns bullets left.

This game is great, all though I would of prefered if all the era was there, it's still fun. I just have one major problem that will never get fixed as this game is no longer supported by the devs. The matchmaking is dead af. It would be cool to have a server browser in order to get inside full matches.

Too greedy for me

Tbh .This is maybe one of the best city builder even to this day. The community plays a huge part in the game, with tons of mods, assets, maps, cities... If you're looking for a good city builder to waste some hours into and relax in, then this is for you.
Though I personally think there is too much DLC's, and some features from certain DLC's should've seriously been in the main game or in more appropriate DLCs but apart from that the game is fun and overhaul well made, bugs are very rare (Unless you download a bunch of mods :D).

Definetly recommanding it. Very cool game if you like city planning or building.
