I was kind of hoping for more than just cosmetics as unlocks and a scoreboard. It definitely has Behemoth's quirky art and style but I wanted a bit more game too.

Maybe some rogue-lite element where you get stats/buffs, more frequent power-ups, etc. Other game modes? Something.

I just don't think it is a game for me.

Rough cut gem just needing some polish and time in the oven. But this is what Early Access means.

Definitely has the makings of a great game but there are some fundamental issues to resolve in my opinion. I think this is worth playing but might be worth waiting for some more patches.

1. Performance overall and settings/scaling options (random stutters are rough in a game about parrying/dodging and DLSS/FidelityFX/etc are still missing)
2. Camera can get a bit finicky due to fixed position nature (walls blocking view)
3. Quality of Life features are missing (realism vs fun choices)
Some examples are:
- Fast travel limitations
- Global access to storage for upgrades missing (need mats when visiting upgrade stations)
- Cannot see what items you have in home storage (useful for knowing if you have excess materials for selling/discarding)
- Inventory spaces are locked behind upgrades
- Storage options are limited early game
- Item comparison menu does not exist
- Infused items do not show stats unless trying to infuse (minor annoyance)
- Stats only seem to be gates to what items you can equip not meaningful changes in character movement/style
- Load/Health/Stamina/Focus are all independent stats instead of being something you can boost along with levels

I believe I have always been a fan of time looping style games and this one was very well put together. It is not an action game per se and should be fine for most casual gamers. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a fun single-player experience.

First I want to say that if this is their definition of "Early Access" then I can't even imagine what a finished product would be considered.

I'm used to bugs, odd behavior, etc. from Early Access. So far this game has felt more polished than Cyberpunk 2077.

All jokes aside, if you enjoy crafting, open world, survival, and a dash of co-op (haven't played co-op yet but I'm sure it's great) then I would absolutely recommend this is game.

A 3D version of one of my favorite 2D games. Worth playing for any fan of rougelite/roughelike real time games.
