It's a classic that changed how fps games were made and so many mods based on this became staples.

I bloody loved the 2089 campaign, you feel like John wick as you go through shooting the bad guys in time to the music. You'll get a full body workout from dodging all the bullets flying back at you. I wish there were more campaigns but there are a lot of systems with loads of replay-ability.

I loved this game as a kid growing up, having the little disc thing to prove you owned the game. Best form of drm ever. This is a brilliant update to the game making it playable on modern hardware. I particularly like the camera reveals more of the game. It does make it a bit easier, but it also makes it more visually appealing to me. I just wish they had the chup cup licence still.

Absolutely love the art direction in this game, the little glitches (on purpose) and game play.

Perhaps the best in the series, especially if you are a warhammer / fantasy fan.

This was exactly what I was hoping for, I just wish I was actually better at it. If you are looking for a good mega man style game, you cant really go wrong with this.

Really fun, fast and addictive. Shorter then I was expecting, but replay value comes from mastering the harder difficulties.

This was the game that got me into competitive gaming. I have far more hours in it then steam reports as steam wasn't even a thing when I started. Loved it to bits. Worth it to play KZ jump maps alone :-D

Got into this competivly back when I was at Uni, there is still a bit of a scene, but the crowd has largely either moved on from gaming now or are playing CS:GO instead. If you however are looking for a single player experience, the story line and gameplay is great here. Would be perfect for those who like the more recent Call of Duty games and I recomend playing it if you havent already.

CS:GO Review
I've been a huge fan of the Counter-Strike series since before Steam was even a thing. CS:GO is by far the best fps currently available if you are looking for something balanced and competitive. Sure it's not perfect but of late Valve keep working on it and regularly keeping it up to date. It's an ok game for more casual play, but its match making system is where the meat of my time was spent. No longer do yo have to go onto IRC or whichever forum. It is all conviently built into the game. Got to aim for the global elite rank ;-)

I fall in and out of love with this game, but just watched the IEM Oakland Final 2017 and love it even more.
