Frostpunk 2 is bigger in scale in all aspects compared to the first one, bigger cities, bigger population, more complex systems, more upgrades, etc.
While these changes in size and complexity made the game feel fresh and like a sequel, it also made it feel less intimate. In the first game you managed small scale cities and every injury and death affected the city and added emotional connection to the player, but in the sequel cities are much larger and the population feel like a number rather than a community you are attached to.

Short but sweet campaign. The final boss fight is great!

Great DLC to a great game. Couldn't ask for anything more. Every boss, secret, weapon is an amazing addition to the game.

I love this game so much. Rarely does a rogue like so good comes out and be this addictive.
I like the game so much I bought it on Switch as well and played more hours there. Even if you don't like poker just buy it and give it a try it will hook you.

Unique art style with unique puzzle mechanics, but still falls short due of its lack of message and emotion, with the only cool thing to add is a world inside a world narrative.

Pretty reminiscent of the original Risk of Rain with things from Risk of Rain 2 and some extra stuff as well. Very recommended for anyone who enjoyed the original or the second one if they don't mind the platformer aspect.

While I appreciate the work the devs put into the procedural generation mechanics, in my opinion they don't work well. Part of the excitement with the souls like games is discovering loot and exploration along side friends playing their on their own but because of the randomness here you don't get the same loot or bosses, and sometimes only have the step to side quest/puzzle spawn so you end up spending hours trying to figure out something and googling doesn't help much because most of the solutions you find doesn't work with the world that spawned for you. You can reroll the worlds but if you're unlucky you can spend hours and hours trying to get one item for your build and not get anything you want at all.
I still recommend the game because the gameplay, and the enemies/bosses are very good and graphically the game is stunning on the UE5.

Wow! What a game! Larian Studios did it again with another masterpiece. One of the best games I've played in my life and one that I will be coming back to from time to time.

Vampire Survivors is the OG but I prefer Halls of Torment in terms of Boss fights, Gameplay progression and art style.

The most fun I've had with a multiplayer shooter in like 5 years. Highly Recommend this. (Just ignore the graphics)
