This is a review of only the first episode. Review is getting refreshed, once all other episodes are released.

I'm gonna be honest here guys. I got dissapointed playing the first episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. It isn't because it is a bad game, it's because it's not as good as the first season. For example, time traveling got removed, because you aren't playing as Max anymore, which isn't a bad thing. The bad thing is, that it gets boring cause of that. There are some features which are really good, for example, you can change outfits for Chloe, which adds some variation in the gameplay. The story is boring in the beginning, but gets really interesting at the end.

So, the first episode isn't really bad but not really so good, as everyone says. If you plan to buy it, don't expect such a great game as the first one or you will get really dissapointed.

Edit:
I've played the second episode now and I have to admit, that this episode is way better than the first. It wasn't boring in some parts, it was more exciting to play, than the first episode.

If you plan to buy this game, you should really do it.

Edit 2:
Now that the third episode is out, I can finally be done with this review. All in all, the third episode was the best of them, except the end. The end was great but it got too many cliffhangers.
SPOILERS AHEAD
I am really confused what James is now doing and it still wasn't explained what happened to Rachel, why she "left" without Chloe.
Despite the confusions the episode was really great and it kept me at the story the whole time.

Final Statement: Buy this game. Do it. If you buy the first season with Max or this season is your decision. I think going chronological is not the best idea, the surprises and explanations you see in this season is much more entertaining if you played the first season.


I will play the bonus episode later at some time, but I will not give a review about it. Don't think it will be necessary.
