Early Access Review
Fyi, you're not funny if your negative review just says "there's no robot sex" and especially if it says "good game but no gay sex". Thanks.

Anyway yeah Ultrakill good game.

It's good.

No, really;

Gunpoint is a fun, if short, puzzle game where you tackle people through plate glass windows, hack into buildings' security grids and rewire them so you can use a light switch to knock out a guard by remotely opening a door, and try not to get shot while doing so. There's also a gun of your own you can buy eventually, if you want to be boring, but using it starts a countdown timer that spawns a police sniper who blocks your exit when it runs out.

If you prefer actually having fun in your videogames, however, you'll find much more of that stealthing through levels, tackling guards, and turning the puzzles the game presents you with against them by using your crosslink tool to build Rube Goldberg machines of chaos and door-face-smackery.

All of this, of course, while accompanied by an awesome array of electrojazz tunes, with both regular and crosslink versions, for when you're in your elite hacker mode, and not.

In truth, Gunpoint is perhaps the first game I've ever purchased and completed on Steam when I was a young, less depresso espresso lad, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart because of it. The characters and dialogue are amusing, the campaign is pretty well-written, the gameplay is fun and gets increasingly complex, I really haven't mentioned the least of it here, and it's accompanied by a banger of a soundtrack I still come back to sometimes. The biggest problem I have with it is how short it is; you can bang out the campaign in a few hours.

Even then, there's a level editor and workshop support, and even if there wasn't I'd still recommend it.

As previously said;

It's good.
