A huge number of issues that need to be adressed before this game can even be played properly

I got this in a bundle and feel like it was years ago when you guy a PC magazine or Gaming related you get a CD full of game demos. This feels like one such demo.

I've never played this before so i have no nostalgia for this game. After playing it all i can say it is a solid shooter where you juggle all the weapons and destroy pretty much everything in sight. You have vehicle segments as well. Everything uses assets or designs from the RTS games, which is awesome.
The story is standard action with one campaign only and it is so unimportant in the C&C universe that it probably isn't cannon or just filler.
If you want to try playing on hardest difficulty better try and complete on normal or easy first, just to get the gist of it and explore a lot since you will find a lot of ammo and health if you take a turn or two along the main route.

Cheesy and fun i guess.

Bought it cause of nostalgia because I played it once when I was a kid. Completed the game and even then i knew the story made no sense.

Typical Murrica muh freedom story. Can't believe people used to and still believe this was/is a possible scenario lmao. Immagine being or even getting immersed in a story about Murrica being the underdog... you know... the current global power that is the greatest threat to everyone elses peace and normality? Yeah, that power is the underdog in this story for some stupid reason. It is blatant propaganda that tries to paint the biggest world agressor as the victim and gain sympathy. Same thing was tried with CoD Ghosts.

I can ignore a moronic story as much as the next guy, but a game has to be good at one thing. Gameplay, and this game doesn't do well in that regard. Game is clunky and boring.
The only good thing is the soundtrack.

Alright, people are right. This is a really good sequel. Every aspect of the first game is improved. There is voice acting, the art is a lot more detailed and the gameplay is refined. It still is at its core very similar to the first game, just improved in every single way.

The story continues where it left off at the true ending from the first game. There are multiple environments and the game uses the mechanics from the first installment to integrate traveling from place to place well. Puzzles are simple and satisfying and the stealth mechanic is A LOT better. Meaning you can't get soft locked like I did in the first game and they don't spawn in your face. There are new characters and they serve the story well. The game even explores new themes which I enjoyed quite a bit (bullying and standing up for yourself). And the comicbook style of cinematics is something I also enjoy very much.

Hopefully a sequel or a new story in the same universe is being made. I really want to see more from these developers.

This is something. My friend says it is "very sadistic" for a game. I tend to agree. By being so it completes its intended purpose and explores streamers being "terminally online".

The game has a very interesting UI - Windows 98/95 coupled with the pixelated artstyle, sound and music. I love this.

Gameplaywise it is a management game. You are the manager of a streamer that you live together with. You have to 30 days to complete the game and there are quite a few endings. None of them "good" honestly. And that the endings are the reason my firend says it is "very sadistic".

The biggest plot twist is not that huge of a twist that you can subtily figure out is that the manager you play at is actually Ame, which means you are Ame. And by being her alterego you are actually her defense mechanism. The true ending is her leaving you, AKA finally accepting that she doesn't need help - she can finally do things by herself and be "free"

Good game but other than getting all the endings it is not something worth replaying when the shock factor dies down. You practically know what is going to happen if you have two working brain cells. So get it on sale just to experience the insanisty if you are curious - mostly because of the artstyle and execution, not the story.

The games style reminds me of "Papers Please", but the similarities end there.
The setting is honestly the most interesting part of the game. The story fits with the setting well and is good but the pacing is very slow. Mostly because of the nature of the gameplay.
The gameplay is consisted of minigames you play to progress. These missions are kind of optional if you have enough resources to continue playing (not get kicked out). But the problem is that the game uses time as a resource and minigames waste time in real time. Meaning, you cant calculate the ammount of time you waste on a single subject. Also minigames are unlocked with resources and you need time to get used to them, so the game creates an artificial pressure that detracts from the gameplay in my opinion.

Still, the game is good for what it is worth. Simple yet interesting design, setting and story. The gameplay gets boring pretty quickly, but the game is rather short so it is not that big of an issue.

A side scroller survival horror game based in a Korean Highschool. Seems fun.

The artstyle is charming and I really liked the story - mostly because of its simplicity but it inspired me to look up a little bit of Korean folklore.

The sound design is good but what annoys me is the intro where it is too loud and sounds like a modern movie explosion sfx for some reason.

The biggest issue is in the gameplay itself. The game has beautiful atmosphere but the only thing you are doing when you are spotted is running away and entering bathroom stalls or closets. Water and stamina items are useless in the game since if you manage your stamina bar you always have enough to enter the 1st hiding spot and there you go.
Health items are somewhat useful but the most important thing is the antidote. If you don't have one with you at all times you can consider yourself dead if you get hit by some tentacles - of which there are a lot during later parts of the game.

The RNG on the one enemy that chases you is annoying. Yes you can guess where it is and avoid it unless it spawns right where you enter/spawn on the floor. There were times when I was soft-locked in the game because it spawned in front of the only exit of the room I was in and I was dying from poison. The problem is it didn't want to go away, just wandered in front of the entrance left and right.

Other enemies are random and, yes they have some audio queues, but you can't figure out the distance even with headphones and you don't always have time to react. The only way to "pass" them is to either go the other way or stand and wait for a few seconds.... and if you are being chased good luck with that.

So yes, the game is good but mostly because of the story and atmosphere. The gameplay gets repetitive and annoying more than scary after a while even though the game is short. The setting is the same so maps feel the same.

Just look up the good ending tutorial without spoilers and you are good to go. There are 4 endings depending on which steps you completed during the game. They all build upon one another so if you see the good ending you effectively see the entire ending (example: ending 1 is like a cut version of ending 2 and ending 2 is like a cut version of ending 3 and so on)

This was actually fun to play. I mean, there is gameplay to be found here, even if it is basic.

You manage resources and time in this game. You earn money for completing chores and tasks and then spend the money to purchase better gear and consumables for maintenance. As such said gear helps you complete missions easier and gives more bonuses. The completion chance is rng and that can be a bit frustrating. Compare that with other mechanics in the game that depend on the main story route and you will have to manage with a lot more rng depending on the route.

There are 3 main routes with a total of 5 endings (2 bad and 3 good). Each is interesting and completely different from one another. There are a lot of side stories that can be completed regardless of the main story chosen, although management of time is key since you do have a deadline for completion.

The art is good most of the time but at times it feels af the characters are off and proportions are completely different from other CGs or sprites. It can be off-putting when you notice the inconsistencies in the art. But overall it is good.

There is voice acting here and there but coupled with the sound effects and the "sound effects" that have no diveristy whatsoever, the sounds get annoying fast. Unlike the music though, that is done well.

Interesting if you are a gun enthusiast, even vehicles are being introduced now so if you have any interest in anything mechanical related this can be quite interesting.
The issue is the overall grind this game seems to revolve around. You have to replay and redo all different game modes for all the weapons you have unlocked in order for you to unlock the next one... then redo everything a few times more, or quite a few times more. Depends on the weapon.

Still, a good game and i love the concept. It is very informative and you can learn some things that might prove to be useful.

An enjoyable journey about Komi mythology with their language and pagan music. It has a very nice artstyle. Everything is made to resemble the setting the game is in. Chalk + pagan songs + the overall art and the parts with any voice (narrator reading the story) are in the native language.
A very pleasant experience, kind of like an interactive history lesson in a live museum.
