Loved this game since the day i first started playing

The graphics and the gameplay are quite nice. I love the global conquest scenarios that the game offers and that is where I spent most of my time. The game has an amazing soundtrack which I listen to from time to time. The details on units that are mostly based on real historical uniforms/tech is a really nice touch. All of the games aesthetics and models are nicely tied to a certain faction. Not every country had these destinctions but that would be asking too much. Multiple ways to win a match with a lot of customization so you can make your own gamemodes. Mod support is also the cherry on top.

Hope this game does something... just something. People just buy it and stop playing. Same case with me. There is just nothing to do.

The patches are slow and that means the games development progress is slow but it is good. The Devs are at least doing something and trying their best. The game is very ambicious for its price and status. I would love to see this game get completed and play it with my friends. I've got 1 more copy of it in my library and dont know who to give it to.

Just be patient and support this game, play it at least from time to time.

Very difficult and very good Strategy game in World War 2, with several Nations along with their separate Campaigns.
Needs a decent Computer as it seems to calculate every projectile,and Line of Sight in a naturally flowing landscape.

Simulationlike Realism unsuited for casuals.
Tankcrews hit by HE rounds get stunned.Infantry in Trenches overrun by tanks get crushed. Infantry hiding in Bushes with Hold fire are almost invisible.Most guns have ranges of several Miles with armor penetration depending on Range and Ammunition.No Repairs in the field.Lootable Corpses.

Negatives:
Graphics are a bit outdated.
Infantry can not enter Buildings.
Ai is not broken , but not very Bright either.
Gameplay is a bit slow as i find myself pausing a lot to check the sightlines,Ammunition count, Penetration values, Ranges to Target. and so on.

The game tried to be "innovative" in a way compared to the stale formula of the previous titles (MW). But what they did was make a dull game for multiplayer. Sure the campaign had a great darker and more serious tone cause of the post-appocalyptic setting but the story didn't do it justice. The graphics were quite nice for the time but the physics were basically the same as before (not talking about the fish lmao). The gunplay felt weird somehow, especially since they introduced the new sniper zoom mechanic in the place of the old-school shooter type. The story is such a mess It hurts. I used to like it as a kid, even though I'm non-American but now with more brains in my head I can see that this story is so bad it hurts. Nothing makes sense in a geopolitical or military way. All this campaign is is an overglorified patriotic fart that gives you a single-use gimmick every mission only for it to take it away and you to never use it again. The characters are dull and the enemy is weird and edgy. The ending was just a "shock" but thankfully we didn't get a sequel.
The soundtrack is nice though.
The multiplayer is dull cause of the giant maps and bad killstreaks with RNG events and "powerups" on the map that can be collected by anyone. So this game pleases noone and it is no wonder the playerbase died out so fast.
The squads were an interesting concept but to a bunch of kids it was useless.
The extinction mode was really good filled with much needed innovation compared to the already stale zombies and the basic survival mode from the previous games. It was episodic and proved itself in the way it tells the story so much that it became a template for future "survival mode" installments in the franchise.

Campaign is load of bull, MP is unbalanced. Better get CoH1 than this garbage
