Updating review, as of 10/23/2024, it's difficult to recommend the game with some choices that have been made, the game is pretty F2P friendly and once you've beat the story/challenge levels dailies can take like 5 minutes 10-15 if you do dives/raids. I dolphin/whale in a couple of gachas, I have the prestige skins for A.Jia/Rosaria/Ecclesia, but I really doubt that will buy anything in store so I might not get the Yuna Prestige skin, I've bought most skins for units that I like and have bought classified recruitment packs before, but with recent changes I can't really justify more micro transactions besides the monthly pass and buying the counter pass(Battle Pass), even the activity pledge seems ehhhh with it. A couple of Units got hard nerfed to the point that they're pretty difficult/not really usable as they were before, even worse some were counterpass units had premium skins and well the skins in this game are amazing, have bought almost all of them, but that's another thing, skins take a long time to drop. Global was rushed to almost be caught up to KR server, but almost no compensation to make up for the lack of limited characters, skipped like 3 units back to back since went to pity. Was able to get those units by recalling the units that were nerfed to the ground so that's nice at least right? oh and the raising the level cap to 120 is another resource sink, I have enough cores to not worry about it for a while but that really is a concern wondering how f2ps could keep up 75 fusion cores weekly. Balancing units in this game does not seem to be a strong point in this game, a lot of units could have been buffed or given alternium reactors to handle other characters, but they decided to nerf them to the ground.

Game should need better marketing like no one promotes the game. The only three content creators I've heard of are Bullet, Mage, and InfamousJake. More frequent skins to get people to buy. Actual good SSR's that are not counterpass. They have plenty of characters that straight up are just forgotten in favor of awakened units, Rework PvP or something a lot of the nerfed characters were busted in PvP now why do some units kits have in gauntlet only and pve only skills and the nerfed one's didn't just get that? They should have taken the L, either give the choice to recall them or give compensation if chose to keep them and gave them in gauntlet only. will the next awakened unit after Felix have skills similar to the ones that were stripped off the nerfed units? More DPS Defenders? Which awakened character will receive the next alternium after Queen? will it be Jake (Hp steal from mechs?) or Curian (True damage)? Who will get the next nerf?

I'll still play, as I really hope the game does something to make a comeback. Story is a strong good point in this game. Origin update ruined the game for friends and they just swapped to other games. Will consider prestige skins if for Horizon or Sigma, now that Lurcher is extinct, give mechs something to replace him with or more soldiers like Felix.

Hopefully the Administration Failure does not happen in 2024.
