Early Access Review
I did it, folks. The review has been edited! The crashes I was having were caused by a BIOS issue with 13th-14th gen CPU's. It's now running flawlessly!

Schedule I is already shaping up to be one of the standout games of 2025. It sports a vibrant, cartoony art style that adds a playful twist to its offbeat theme—mixing drugs with bizarre and often hilarious side effects, like turning people into green, one-eyed mutants. The gameplay loop is genuinely addictive: there's a satisfying rhythm to watching your XP bar climb, your income grow, and experimenting with all the new products and gear you unlock as you level up throughout the game.

Since it’s still in early access, the late-game content is a bit sparse for now—but that’s to be expected. I’m definitely keeping an eye on the updates, because what Tyler’s crafted here already feels like a hidden gem in the making.

And if you’re reading this, Tyler—seriously, amazing work. You’ve made something special. Keep it up!

You know what? Instead of a typical review how about I give everyone some factual advice as to why Stellaris - released 2016 - Is still being developed in 2024.

- The game has a $40 price tag, which sounds hefty but you get a game with a lot of replay value. This in itself is pretty typical in the modern gaming industry but what people don't seem to understand is why Paradox continues to release DLCs for $20 each, and although the content may not be as much as everyone would like, it's what keeps the game alive, furthering its development. If they were to release all DLC content for free and rely entirely on the $40 base game price tag, the game would've run out of funding years ago as we, as the fanbase, have already bought the game and thus there's not much in the way of income coming in. Obvious corporate greed aside it's worth addressing that most people don't ever think of the fact people need to work to make the content we enjoy, and to work they need to be paid. Our contribution through buying the DLCs is why the game continues to thrive.
Think about it. Any DLC for Stellaris we buy is in one way or another a paycheck for the people working on the game.

You are welcome to get angry at the developers for charging so much for the various Stellaris DLCs, but I think it is smarter to appreciate the fact the game is still being developed thanks to them, and not abandoned within a year of release unlike Call of Duty and so many others.

There are only four words to sum up Call Of Duty MWII. What A Sad Joke.

Activision is hitting community-made cod's with cease and desist orders for games that are actually fun compared to garbage cash-grabs like this one.

Pros:
- Fun And Enjoyable Campaign with very few bugs at launch. Impressive given modern AAA titles but that's the only credit this game gets.

Cons:
- TTK (Time To Kill) Is Ridiculous. Half the time I don't even know what killed me because I never have a single opportunity to react. It's because this game isn't a game of skill, it's just who gets surprised first, usually by the opponent camping in a corner somewhere.
- Console VS PC Is Terribly Unfair compared to Cold War. A typical console player topscores with 4000+ points on average modes where as a PC player barely hits 1500-3000 at best all because console players have such heavy aim assist that negates weapon recoil and practically aims for them. It's most powerful at longer ranges where mouse movements would be very difficult but controller aim assist doesn't care.
- The Killstreak Callouts Get Obnoxious Quickly, especially on Domination. Half the matches where I get Domination I have to listen to some slow-talking slav constantly repeat "We're Taking A" or "We're Losing B" and so on to the point it gets painfully obnoxious because he never shuts up between calling out Killstreaks and Objectives.
- Options Are Idiotic. For example If you've looked up any guides on how to get better at the game, because I've had to, you'll learn that there's a *Default Walking Speed* which is SLOW by default and can go all the way up to FAST which seems like a 20-30% speed increase. Think of all the times you could have used the extra movement speed.
- Awful Spawns In Multiplayer. Don't get me started on the amount of times I have literally spawned point blank in front of someone, or vice versa. One of my friends even mentioned an instance where he and an enemy spawned in the exact same spot at the same time, and glitched out. This isn't fun or fair when you need to be on a killstreak without dying and an enemy just spawns behind you.
- Terrible Multiplayer Maps. I think my top hated map is Santa Sena Border Crossing. Narrow corridors for snipers, plenty of camping spots, and cars that blow up when you're near them because the enemies spam frag grenades at the start of the match.
- Countless Bugs and Pointless "Different" Stats. Most blatant bugs in the game are in the menu lobbies where you see one or two players t-posing due to devs' laziness and a lack of adding extra poses for additional players or removing them from being visible on screen altogether. There are also several visual bugs with customizing guns where some attachments don't show their stats, have the wrong icon or have completely useless stats that don't affect guns at all. For instance there are 7 different types of recoil in the game. Recoil Stabilization, -Steadiness, -Smoothness, -Control, and Stability, as well as Horizontal/Vertical Recoils respectively. 2 of the aforementioned stats are named differently (steadiness and control) yet achieve the same result. And lastly there's recoil smoothness which does literally nothing in terms of recoil compensation. These are just a couple of the potentially hundred bugs/issues in the game from lack of QA testing in the multiplayer of the game since the beta clearly did nothing good other than test the anticheat I'd say.
Code Of Conduct? Lol The devs try to suppress toxic behavior in a game crawling with cheaters, toxic/mindless players and overpowered guns that make most other weapons pointless. How can someone not get frustrated when the game has so many behind-the-scenes mechanics that actively try and screw you over? There's SBMM (Skill-based match making) which is a stupid addition to any game. Some matches you do amazing, others you are absolutely mowed down to the ground because clearly that's fun for the whole family. There's also SBD (Skill-based damage) which dictates how many shots it takes and how much RNG helps your accuracy with spread shots. At first it feels like enemies die in only a couple shots, next moment your gun feels like a pea shooter and you die from every player encounter you have. These are the reasons the community hates this game and the reason I get so frustrated to the point I get toxic and have now been "punished" for being frustrated. I never got this frustrated in cold war.

Thank you for reading the review. I rarely post reviews and tried to put effort into this one because I can't just act like this game isn't absolutely garbage.

One moment the protagonist is scared for his life when he gains his powers, the next moment he breaks down the front door to a bandit hideout and says "Sorry, thought this was the bathroom". The character development is so ~great~ that I'm literally going to vomit.

I don't know what kinds of drugs the developers took, but christ almighty.

This game is an early access game sold as a full release title. It is nowhere near worth its cost and I highly suggest not buying it until they:
-Balance the special infected in general
-Make the "boomer" not vomit at you from across the map in a foggy area
-Make the "tall boy" not have its weak spot hidden from you when its chasing you, causing you to do nearly zero damage to it and wasting almost all your ammo on it
-Remove the damned crows. Cars are bad enough as is.
-Fix the AI pathfinding and shooting, make them *actually* heal themselves like in l4d games instead of acting as portable ammo dispensers for you.
-Give guns such as shotguns and snipers actual purpose because they completely fall in the shadow of SMGs, Assault rifles (and tactical rifle counterparts) and LMG's. There's no point to use anything other than those three weapon types.

Overall this game is a serious disappointment and nowhere near worth its ripoff price tag. 2/10

The game has its ups and downs. Here are some of the reasons why I like/dislike the game:

Cons:
1. Melee weapons against zombies are broken and flat out pointless. If a zombie is stuck in a stagger animation and you hit them, you do no damage and actually waste the durability of your weapon. If you were to keep hitting the zombie with your weapon whilst it's staggered, your weapon can literally break and the zombie would STILL be alive. At that point you may as well just dropkick zombies and stomp their heads because screw using melee weapons. Shame on the devs for not noticing that.
2. Zombie AI. Meta way to kill crowds of zombies is to simply climb on top of a car and start spam-stomping their heads until they're all dead. Another incredible oversight by the devs
3. Freshly turned zombies or "Virals" as the game calls them are incredibly broken and quite frankly obnoxious when paired with the exploding zombies (Bombers) in the game. A Bomber spawns somewhere on the map and dies or despawns and causes the explosion effect which triggers Virals to spawn. Despite the fact you were never nowhere near the Bomber, the Virals simply spawn near you and hunt you down which is just so stupid and the sheer reason why I quit playing the game.
4. Human enemies. Forget about meleeing them. They'll literally parry you while they're staggering because the devs are incredible at making combat feel fair and realistic. Tahir's battle is a perfect example of why you should never bother meleeing human enemies.

Pros:
1. Beautiful landscape
2. Great ambiance
3. Okay-ish story. Couldn't decide whether to put it as a pro or a con. The story never was very interesting but at least the devs put effort into it.

Maybe buy it during a sale.

On a side note, correct me if any of the cons have been fixed/patched/changed overtime. Those are just back from when I still played the game.

Early Access Review
As a kid I grew up watching ghost documentaries and shows with intrigue and joy despite the fact I know they were either fake or exaggerated. I've a summer home which was rebuilt by a single man who claimed he kept hearing/seeing a girl invite him to go to her. I don't know whether he was lying or not but he was found hanging one day during the reconstruction.

I love this game as a reminder of the possible threats and dangers of the paranormal in our everyday lives and I want this game to thrive to teach people how serious hauntings can be.
In terms of execution this game gets a 10/10 in atmosphere and scares but it feels like it needs a lot of polishing and QoL improvements which can be added with further development.

I got the game expecting another metro game but honestly I cannot recommend this game. Overall it's clunky, they removed the health regen entirely and enemies have weird phases where at one point they aim like snipers and another they aim like stormtroopers so here is all I can say.

Pros:
- Beautiful game
- Interesting enviornments
- Enjoyable story

Cons:
- No health regen makes the game feel grindy because you need to constantly craft syringes
- Obnoxious "blood splatter" effect on the corners of your screen even if you're lightly hurt
- The smallest drops causes you to take damage
- Enemy AI is just upsetting when it comes to humans

Conclusion:

I would only recommend buying this game when it goes on sale and even then expect a lot of nuisances and clunkiness that you wouldn't otherwise see in the other metro games. I feel all development went into the graphics rather than actual gameplay.

Back when the game first came out it was a masterpiece, now it's this

CONS
- Official servers filled to the brim with bots
- Development has completely stopped
- The community is hostile and often very ignorant
- The game is free, giving opportunity for smurfs and players to cheat freely without any consequence
- It's filled with unbalanced weapons that get abused a lot

PROS
- Tf2's dead, Jim.

Hope you're happy, Vic.
