A game i loved left to rot by valve. I've seen nothing over the last few years but an uptick in blatant cheating that despite many reports goes unchecked. The game play itself is solid and I wish i could continue to love this game as i have before but i simply cannot take it any longer. updates mostly just provide new ways for valve to make money while not addressing issues in the game. many of the confirmed cheating players I've come across have badges showing they've been playing for many years without any action being taken toward them. The games a good time if you can accept that no matter if you have prime matchmaking from having previously purchased the game when it wasn't free to play (like me) or not it doesn't really matter you will inevitably have a cheater on your team or against you at some point and you will be unable to leave the match without taking a penalty yourself. not to mention the community can unfortunately be extraordinarily racist often with no recourse as well. the toxicity brewed in the lobbies of the game are worse than that of LOL or even old CoD lobbies. if you can deal with those things and knowing they will never get better than enjoy the game but I admit I no longer enjoy it after all these years
