This game is fantastic in basically every way there is. It has good mechanics, beautiful graphics, a very acceptable level of bugginess, and a great story. Yes, story. Yes, this is a survival game. Yes, it's great. Buy it.

I didn't know Synergies could feel so good. But oh boy, in Slay the Spire, when you get the right cards in your first turn, there are few things that feel better. Strong recommendation by me.

The game is very different from a lot of other stuff out there. The controls are great, the gameplay fast and almost always exciting, and the AI vicious enough to make you super annoyed you didn't put your pikes on the top of the ledge. So, overall, the game is well worth its price. I'll definitely be playing loads more in the future.
