Pretty bad game. ( phone game, not a PC game.)

-Movement does not feel good. Odd delay, odd movement.

-Interaction with the world feels bad. Everything takes time or has a delay. Wrong item you are using despite aiming at the right one. Multiple press, Character start using item but bugs and never continues while waiting forever.

-Building is horrible. The worst building game I have ever touched so far. ( fallouts,rust,valheim,.+++) The snapping is bad, really really bad. It is just so tedious to place 1 piece how you want it.

-Combat is extremely boring and overly easy aimbot assist. Combat is clearly made to be a PHONE GAME.
Bullets hit target as long as you close, no need to be on top. THe hitbox are just massive.
Ammo is really easy to craft so you have unlimited amount and just shoot all the time.

-NPC AI IS TRASH. The AI of this game is a complete joke. You can shoot at Deers in the wild, and they barely react if they even react to bullets or arrows.
THe most complex NPC behavior you will find is an enemy slowly moving towards you.
I just cannot emphasize how braindead the NPC's are in this game. Nothing worse encountered so far. Worse would be standing still.


-PVP, well no, you wont. The PVP servers are basically pve servers and then you can "OPT IN".
So basically you are playing in a PVE world, with no PVP interactions. Same mistake as fallout 76.

-Servers get filled really fast and perform EXTREMELY POORLY once you start building and other people building around you. Once a server is full, no one ever can join anymore, so no friends if they didnt already. Leading to a lot of new servers from people just recreating a char.
-NO ACCOUNT PROGRESSION. every server has 1 character and that progress ( and items you buy in store for real money) are linked to that char only and will be lost if you change server ( such a scam)
-Environment is pretty but not that high res.
-Collecting resources is made simple as you pick up 1 item then everything in the room is picked up, that is not so bad. The process is boring.

-Story, is best skipped.

The game has an incredible amount of bugs and glitches.
A lot of monsters dont even load and weird thing happen.
I let that last part slide, even for a finished game. Because it is FREE.

I would not spend a dime on this game.
It is the kind of game I could still go on, on how bad it is and why you should try any other similar game if you like any aspect of this game.
Sometimes a good 5$ game gets you WAY WAY further.
Nevertheless for the 5-15 years old with NO money. This maybe can be a game for them, if they dont know any better.

3HOURS before you can try the actual software/game.
It is a method to con players who want to try the game but having the game download as it is launched
and open, having STEAM count the time going by and exceed 2 Hours return window.T
herefore using predatory behavior to not allow any refunds.

The game is so buggy, i cannot finish the tutorial as I have started over 5 times now for different game breaking bug that does not allow me to progress further into the tutorial.

it is so so bad. I will come to leave update if I get to do anything at all. So far I have only been able to push a lever in a plane that nothing happens. Great simulation...

I dont even own the game

It is not a good game.
Movement feels terrible.
It is not the same as the original MW3, MW3 is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than this.
UI is puked all over the screen.
The screen shake and sound effect are terrible.
You cannot even disable most of the sounds in this game.
High quality garbage sounds.

The game is obnoxious.
( I still play the old games) these remakes are pathetically made. Just a big company wasting their resources in a formula they lost a long time ago.

Performs really poorly. Tried a lot of settings.
No need to mention the game play, it is not something I enjoy too.

Combat is really bad in this game, you are unable to aim up or low with your swords and other weapons. like a 2d game but the enemies they can. They will stand 1 Millimeter underneath you and kill you while the game is so bad and you cannot hit.

DO NOT PLAN COMBAT in this game a lot. Its really bad.
Everything else is really nice.
BuUUUT because combat is so bad, finishing the game is irrelevant. Only build.
You can activate mods, cheat codes, console commands ,even implemented world modifier that allows you to have a better game .

MODS ARE REALLY IMPORTANT for this game, without mods its not really good to progress.

If you like survival and base building and areas and good games, you will love this.
This is a surprising gem, I was not expecting to like it. I LOVE IT.

lots of weird bugs, unplayable on pc without a controller.

Edit 1 : I changed to thumb down. Because the game is actually bad.
I do enjoy the nostalgia and that I remember the game from childhood. It was a good childhood game because I did not know any better the first area was fun.

Today as someone with half a brain I am surprised how this game was popular. It was probably just the gore and open world, and still.
Every single aspect of this game could be better, maybe I am spoiled with half decent gta5

Yet, too many issues that are just design choices and not age or performance whatever, are just terrible and avoid any frustration actually trying to enjoy this game.

You will not be able to enjoy it, no matter how hard you try. That is why I cannot recomend.

Could be better, but hey you can play it. Good player base so far

**The devs do not address anything** tUPDATED nov 2023: The devs do and have addressed many of the issues. If the game continues to improve like this, this will be nice game to play.
I will come back later when I change my down to up.

Play LEFT 4 DEAD a WAY better game, no doubt.

PVP with friend is fun but has little players.
But it is NOT THE PVP from L4D which was much better, in comparison this one sucks.
PVE modes are not that great but the lack of players makes you play with some of the worst bots ever created.

If on sale for $10 maybe worth with friends.
Forget this game completely if you are a solo player. BOTS ARE SO BAD, SO BAD. I do not even know a game i can compared bots that bad too.

Games looks good but many visually unpolished thing.
Card system is cool but lacks a little.





Edit 06/09/2022, 60 additional hours since previous review Game got more disappointing over time. Development team has no idea what they are doing.

Came back one year after uninstalling. I will uninstall it again. I try so hard to like it, but i cannot.
They added more bad enemies, like one who can range attack you ( you explode) while the monster is behind walls,. So you cant kill him.

The devs have not fixed any issues this game has and still has.
Turtle Rock is one of the most disappointing Game company after Blizzard

The game has many more bugs. It is impossible almost to play online.
Monsters through walls, teleporting, seeing the appear right in front of you ( spawn got even worse somehow)
I just want to shoot zombies and this game really ruins it, going back to many others zombie games.

When continuing your "SAVED" games, your whole loadout is reset ( you just keep the character you initially chose and the grey weapons. ( Any loot or gear or copper you had is lost)
