I would pass on this game and here is why.

The game itself, doesn't play well and there is a clear pay to win aspect, the starter weapons are beyond useless, inclusing the starting asssault rifle. Not only this but put it along with poor hit detection, this cause problems to arise. After playing maybe 7-8 matches I have now stopped. The levels are small which causes, in most occassions, for one of the two teams reaching their enemies spawn and proceeding to spawn camp. In all my matches I seen this, though the time for which the camping of a spawn occurred varied.

The shotguns [rant here] are pure and utter crap. Small maps and shotguns should be an easy yes. But no, they aren't shotguns are also useless. Even from three feet away the shotgun could take between 2-4 shots and most often than not you will die. Does this sound right? A weapon suited for CQC is in fact not suited at all. If you decide to grind your way though this then there are a few shotguns that you can buy that will often kill in 1-2 hits. Again the pay to win aspect.

The game itself, for me, it was stuttering and sometimes bits of my weapon would expand like some weird glitch. This should not be an issue. I played the beta and never once seen this. Maybe it was because I had a GTX 680 instead of a R9 290. Either way it was off putting. And now gameworks and NVidia technology, of boy, I think it's effecting my performance of my AMD card. I'm not joking but, I play every other game fine, but this small mapped, graphically lackluster and cpu unintensive just game runs like dirt.

I would pass on this game, honestly it is near enough like War Inc, another pay2win game. But unlike warface, war inc seems more balanced and I can actually kill people in CQC quickly like it should be. The only thing this game has to get people to play is the "crytek" trick. The game likes like crap for using the "crytek engine". Guys honestly I play a lot of games, but this isn't worth downloading. Get war inc if you want a poor first person shooter experience.

The game would get a 3/10 from me.

Early Access Review
As this is an early alpha, I would definitely recommend to avoid this game until it matures and key features are fixed.

Here is a run down of the good and the bad:

Good:

1. Customisation - characters can be customised easily with new gear, really helps with the realism aspect of the game.
2. Fists - Allow this is only minor, I quite liked it and it helped me survive especially with a lack of weapons in the game.

Bad:

1. PVP - It has returned with a vengence; every player I bumped into just started attacking, no matter if I had gear or not, it always came down to fighting. This became really annoying and finding a group is near on impossible. I blame the fist mechanic, which has only helped increase PVP play.

2. Zeds - They are broken. Simple as that. The mod was a foundation, but from the looks of it Rocket decided he would like to break them in... literally. They agro from miles away - yes miles. They glitch through fences, walls, house, you name it. They also give zero ***** about melee weapons.

3. Lack of loot - Where are the guns? Where are the backpacks? Where are the food and medicine? Don't look at me, I have no idea either. The world is empty and the lack of loot makes travelling from house to house pointless and a grind. Not something I want to spend my time doing.

4. Performance - The game runs like how the mod did in it's early days. Like crap. For a pretty impressive rig I only got 21fps in the town. However, I did find a fix which brought it close to 30-35fps. But you will be sacrificing view distance and quality.
