This game is so worth your money.

Finally an investigation / puzzle game where answers just make sense. The story is touching and challenging to grasp at first - yes - but once you get it, every pieces of the puzzle starts falling in place in such a masterful way.

Highly recommend for fans of the genre. Definitely a must have. Encourage this Dev - he 1100% deserves it.

Thank you Somi for this amazing emotionally-moving experience!

Cheers!!

TLDR: Fun game, it's worth your money - but expect bugs and mechanics issues here and there - it's an early access after all.

What I like about it:

The game is absolutely amazing and probably more addictive than the drugs we sell in it. It's super fun to play with friends too, for a game that has a single dev working on it, I am impressed. I purchased it 4 days ago, and already have 61 hours played haha. This is the kind of game even a non-gamer could enjoy, but it also has that grit that core gamers will definitely enjoy. That being said, it is still an early access game

What I dislike about it:

Expect a bunch of fun-breaking bugs here and there. The game starts lacking content and meaningful things to do passed the Surburbia unlock. At that point, there's generally nothing else to purchase, no new recipes, no better cars, no new business, etc. Once you purchase the warehouse, expect screen rubberbanding/stuttering to happen if you hire people to work in it. Not too sure why it happens, but if I fire them, it fixes the issue. There's more bugs too, but it's not worth to list them all. Only so much a solo dev can do afterall - and the game is super enjoyable despite all the above.

To conclude

So the way I look at it personally, it is absolutely worth the price for me. Since it's less than 1 hour of work to get 61 hours of absolute fun (and a bit of frustration due to bugs haha).

I definitely recommend this game. Encourage that amazing dev, they're alone afterall and they did an incredible job at finding a fun, unique and addictive game concept. I am looking forward for bug fixes and more content at this point!

Kenshi is like doing butt stuff for the first time - all over again.
It start off pretty uncomfortable, maybe even painful, but then it slowly becomes more and more enjoyable and before you know it, you've got a new addiction. I highly recommend if you're into butt stuff in other words.

Listen, I've read a few of the comments left on this page and... Well... lol. I just can't.

I love this game. Like I loved Stardew Valley...

Is it worth your money? Yes. If you liked Stardew Valley, there's no way in hell you won't like this game.

I just cannot play this game, and not think about Stardew Valley though.
If I didn't like Stardew Valley to begin with, I would've never liked this game.

Simple as that.

If you hated Stardew Valley, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME - it's the exact same ♥♥♥♥.

But that's about it though, This game is Stardew Valley... with different characters, different map and the exact same mechanics, exact same way to go about the season aspect, exact same way to go about fighting and grinding materials and experience in the mines. Finding materials/artifacts to fulfill a museum - Rebuilding a town. Taking over a very cluttered plot of farm land and clearing it up, etc etc etc. It's the same game, just a revamp with a new story. In my humble opinion.

I cannot believe some comments said "It is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT" haha!! This is utmost nonesense!

Hell, even the relationship mechanics are the same, the biomes are also the exact same (beach, cave, water cave, then I guess magma cave will come as soon as I get there)

I have finished a whole year in the game at this point, and it's the exact same thing as Stardew Valley. To a point I don't understand how the creator of Stardew Valley didn't sue (lmao - It's unsettling how similar it is).

BUT All of that said, The game has different story line, different map, different characters - AND - you can now jump and upgrade your skills in a way that was not available in Stardew Valley (as far as I can remember). But that's about the only things that are not THE EXACT SAME as Stardew Valley.

Hell even the music themes tend to change in the exact same kind of tones as those of Stardew Valley.

But hey.... I did love Stardew Valley!
And I do love this game too.

Do I recommend it? Yes, If Stardew Valley creator is fine with it.
Will I stop supporting this game if ConcernedApe decided to sue them? Totally.

Look, she's broken alright. Aren't we all though?
He's a hopeless romantic(?) or Maybe he's just a psycho. Who knows?!
Ah that's right, the people who got the game.

Highly recommend to anyone interested in a cute little familly game to play together. You can have your kids do Ashley's voice over, while you do Andrew's. Or the other way around, really there's no bad way to play this game... ... ... ... Oh right, though you might need to add the therapist fees to the game's cost afterward... but hey... What's the price for a good family time?! That's what this game is all about after all. Family time. QUALITY - family time.

More seriously though, I really enjoyed playing through the first 2 episodes and definitely looking forward for the next ones - in high hopes the project remains afloat and that there'll be a 3rd episode soon... It's honestly a very engaging game, one in the likes i've not seen a lot in the past 15 years. Highly recommend all my damned kindred souls out there to get that one - it was made for you my loves.

I have nothing negative to say about this game so far.
Considering it's a early access deck builder, Roguelite and the fact that it's coop makes it all worth it to me.
If ever you enjoyed Slay the Spire, well this game is basically in the very same branch, but with friends and in a different universe of course.

For people complaining that the game is hard: Yes. It's challenging, but not impossible hard. Playing with friends makes the whole thing so damn fun because you can discuss strategies and upgrades before playing and get the best value out of every single move. I had a LOT of fun on my first playthrough. The runs are short enough and as of now they don't have many levels per say, but it's still early access - so it's all fine by me. I highly recommend getting that game. For the price, it's totally worth it.

You will for sure play more than what's it worth. Thumbs up to the developers for that title!

If you like combat roguelites click on purchase now. This game is so great, the lore is rich & the npcs are amazing too. No matter how many hours you play the characters lines don't seem to end up repeating themselves, and it's extent in terms of character upgrades and possible builds is amazing too. Game play is incredibly satisfying and is challenging as hell, no pun intended. This is an absolute "must have" in any Steam Library.

I most definetly recommand anyone that enjoys the survival crafting / sandbox type of games buys this one. It feels as if Rust or Life is Feudal had a baby with Terraria / Minecraft... in a Viking world. I love the type of graphics the game is offering and mostly the way it was created. It's simply the craziest feeling to get on a boat for the first time with a few friends and get in the Ocean. The Progression is there, this is NOT an easy game, that aspect makes it worth. Replayability is immense. I still cannot believe this game is Early Access as there's much content / mechanics already. Really good job here Devs - Keep up the good work! And people, just Buy it! It's worth every penny.

Trash game, Totally unrealistic mechanics - Walking seems like you're sliding on the ground, Running feels like you're sitting on a rocket. You get no real sense of immersion because of that. You spawn in a "safe zone" and get killed right away by multiple level 50 aggressive dinosaurs you stand no chance against. It's simple, I purchased the game with super high hopes of "survival" fun, and ended asking for a refund because it's just plain stupid. You spawn - You live 3 minutes - You die. Don't get me wrong here, I love survival games, I played : Life is Feudal, Starbound, The Long Dark, Osiris: New Dawn. All of which were super nice in their own way. But ARK... Ark is just bad and you can tell right away.

First thing first: I had hard time starting the game up. Once installed you gotta install another "anti-cheat" software which is stupid and should be pre-implemented in the game. More over you start the game and nothing happens you need record of their stupid anti-cheat software anywhere on your PC to uninstall or whatever.

Second: The graphics are nice, but totally betrayed by the unrealistic way the character moves around and interact with it's surroundings. Everything seems way too "Fast". It's super Arcade-like and destroys any sense of "survival".

Third: The deception of seeing your character "punch" a tree down with it's fist and then see the tree disappear in the air as it is falling - wtf? I mean, In many many many games you would see the ressource fall down on the ground stay there - waiting to be gathered or something. Not in ark, in Ark you punch a tree, and the tree gives you ressource. I would not suggest you try that in real life.

I haven't played many hours - Just these few hellish minutes i tried the game was enough to say: " Yup, not for you."
It really is a disappointement as I know many people playing / enjoying the game - But I just can't. All these little things are enough to annoy me to a point where i would prefer play a full game of monopoly with my grandparents more than to be in "the Ark" 15 more minutes.

In other words - This game is not for anyone to enjoy. It has it's own crowd - and I personnally wasn't part of it.
