Cute game.

Great game, but I'll talk about the bad.

Survivor:

- 7 out of 10 games, you will go against Baal. Baal, who will possession spam you into traps until you're incapacitated.

- Your teammates will disconnect often. They run off on their own, die, and then they disconnect. Expect this the most from prestiged players.

Demon:

- You will not win until you level up your demon. You're going against players with hundreds of hours, you need to spend points on the skill tree to be able to do anything. It's an uphill battle otherwise.

- Oh so many cars. You steal a car from the survivors and flip it. So what? Another one spawns in front of you and the survivors just get into that one instead. Good luck with Castle Kandar.

- Survivors will taunt you by clicking their flashlights when they know they're going to win.

- Survivors abuse railings.

- Survivors spam finishers on the objectives to run out the clock. They know they can't take damage when you hit them during the animation.

- A coordinated team will rarely lose.

- Survivors can split the objective, 2 on the dagger and 2 on the lost pages. Even if you manage to down one group, they will be revived when the other group finishes their objective.

- Alters should NOT be near the book. The storm won't cut it off from survivors on some maps in certain places.

General:

- Everything is a grind.

- Too many disconnections/crashes/bugs.

I couldn't get past the ragdoll physics.

Pros:
+ Co-op
+ Mercenaries Mode
+ Nostalgic
+ Wesker is the game's villain
Negatives:
- Your AI partner goes down way too easy
- Game isn't populated

Positives:
+ Numerous events, though 'numerous' borders on too many now.
+ The better you do in a match, the more you're rewarded (Evolution points, weapon upgrades, etc.).
+ Crafting system.
+ You get to play as an apex predator.
Negatives:
- It has a low player base. You will be matched against the same people over and over again. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
- Matches can become very one-sided. Level 1 sharks can be put against level 100 divers, and vise versa.
- Matchmaking can take up to 10 minutes if you want to play as a shark.
All and all, I got my money's worth, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to new players.

Positives:
+ POV switches between Majima and Kiryu
+ It's a beat 'em up with 4 separate skill trees (Brawler, Rush, Beast, Mad Dog/Dragon Style)
+ Heat moves actually look like they hurt
+ There's a variety of mini-games (Dance battles, karaoke, gambling, arcade games)
+ Over 30 sub-stories for each character
+ Majima whump
To sum it up, there's a lot to do in the game. It took me approximately 185 hours to complete everything.
Negatives:
- Your inventory can become corrupted. It's frustrating to be stuck with something you can't even move or use. So if you didn't save often enough, or left wide gaps between your save files, good luck.
- Personally, I thought Kiryu's half of the story was far less interesting than Majima's.

Positives:

- Co-op

- Endless mode

- Survival can be 4/7/10 waves

- Seasonal events

Negatives:

- Objectives in survival are annoying

Positives:

- Co-op

- Infinite ammo

- Mercenaries Mode

Negatives:

- Online is dead

- DLC modes are deader than dead
