Early Access Review
What palworld lacks in original designs in its pals, it makes up for in having an actual fun and well put together game that, unlike some, lets just say for example, recent nintendo games centered around collecting pocket monsters, isn't an ugly, awful mess.

I had very low expectations going into the game, but i was pleasantly surprised. I certainly understand any one of my friends who expressed some hesitancy. I encourage them to watch some twitch streams or maybe do some steam library sharing. If nothing else, ya still got 2 hours to find out if you like the game or not. And again, unlike some other Nintendo AAA games I know, you wont spend those 2 hours stuck in a tutorial with back to back to back cutscenes! You'll spend that 2 hours actually playing the game!

Hunt showdown has come a long way since August 2019, and even earlier febuary 2018 EA. I vaguely remember seeing youtubers I watched at the time give the game a go and didnt think much of it at the time. To me, at least, it was another insignificant wave in a slue of early access titles, and I didnt believe its blend of different ideas would get it very far.

It wasnt until 2022 when some friends dragged me along that I learned how wrong I was. A much slower paced shooter compared to games I had been playing like overwatch or TF2 that demanded my time and patience to succeed, and rewarded my patience with extremely satisfying sound design and gun impact thrilled me. I have been playing hunt since early 2022 and with over 1000 hours in the game, Ive come to love Hunt Showdown for all its gratifying gameplay.

I have nominated the game for the 'Labor of Love' reward in 2023. Where hunt was 5 years ago, or even 1, approaching now for me 2 years ago is nothing like It is today.

Never before have I heard a company decide that a modding community was a detriment to their own community and completely pulled mod support from their game. I havent seen a worse decision made for the continued growth of a platform since bethesda tried to monetize mods.

The announcement made today by the VRC development team to end mod support in favor of Easy Anti Cheat is so astronomically flawed that I first believed it to be a made up hoax meant to rile up furries and weebs until eventually word got around that it was fake. Boy was I wrong.

Easy Anti Cheat will not solve vr chats problems like avatar ripping or crashing, and the promise of implimenting fan favorite mods into the core functionality of the game is completely hollow, as any experienced player will tell you by citing dynamic bones.

If you are reading this review (first off, thank you) I strongly encourage you to cancel your VRC+ subscription if you have one, as well as avoid the game outright so that the significant drop in players will send a clear signal to the developers that EAC is a self inflicted wound to their own community, and will only serve to drive members away to other platforms like Chillout or Neos.

Hello yes hi i like free discounts

real talk though, starbound is actually a pretty decent game. Mods have completely transformed this game, however. Id say the game is hardly worth the time without the mods now in 2019.

Allow me to get one thing out of the way first. Bomber Crew is a solid game. Its got all the foundations right for a great experience, and in the short time i played the game, i did have fun with it! It had a great deal of challenge to even the earliest of missions and promised only more difficulty to come. i loved the art assets within the game for customizing your characters as well as the plane itself, including custom made decals.

So why am i not recommending the game then?

In its current state, Bomber Crew has a lot to promise, and a lot of room to grow, but it simply lacks content. The missions will invariably get repetative and it will only take as long as it takes for a refund to no longer be an option to realize that the missions are all the same, just skinned differently. The game just lacks variety right now, once you look past the different descriptions of the target youre supposed to either bomb, take a picture of, or deliver supplies to. I hope that one day that i will catch word of a significant content patch that varies up the gameplay, but until then i await my refund and leave this review as a thumbs down.

There is a game here to be enjoyed by those who love the challenge micromanagement and ever increasing odds stacked against you. If youre on the fense about it, I would recommend buying the game, and then keeping a timer on standby set to about an hour and a half. play through it, and see what you think.

so undertale is a retro style rpg developed by Toby Fox. Undertale takes place in the year 201x, long after a major conflict between mankind and monsters that resulted in the monsters being sealed at the bottom of a mountain. You play as a young boy/girl who falls down into the mountain and must now find your way back home. Undertale is filled with some really great humor and has an amazing soundtrack which is just simply amazing. Its a rather emotional game too. in my 2 hours of playing, ive laughed, ive shivered, and ive cried. In regards to the combat, its very unique for an rpg. Instead of pressing the attack button to throw some numbers at a monster, only to receive numbers back, you can actually talk your way out of every single encounter in the game (including the boss fights). Furthermore, instead of taking damage from the monster attacking, you actually see the attack come at you and have the opportunity to dodge it in what can best be described as a bullet hell mini-game (becoming more bullet hellish the more enemies you have to fight since each of their attacks add to the box you dodge the attacks in).

I would recommend this game to literally everyone. Believe in the hype. This game is truely amazing.

If thats not enough, im told that undertale has received a higher peer review on metacritic than half life 2. take that for what you will.

Id strongly recommend this game to fans of tabletop RPG games such as pathfinder or baulder's gate. Its complexity goes a bit to far from time to time, with instances of being micrometers off from backstabs or standing on a single pixel of fire and bursting into flames, but besides that, the gameplay is top notch and best experienced with a friend. With a wide variety of classes, including hybrids, to choose from, you can really customize your character to your liking. The customization even goes so far as to defining yourself on certain characteristics (for example: Bold vs cowardly. obideiant vs independent. compassionate vs heartless). These characteristics are defined as you play the game based on your choices and will give you different bonuses based on which ones your more alligned with.

Overall, if you had to ask me to grade D:OS on a scale of 1-10, id give it a 9/10

as a big fan of 4x strategy games like Civ or GalCiv, Age of Wonders does not fall short of such titles for its enjoyment. The game has a very large amount of depth to it. So many different factors to consider. The spellplay going on is also very unique. The spells in the game can really turn the tide of battle. They can do simple things like damage, heals, or buffs and debuffs. They can also destroy the walls of cities and summon powerful allies. This being compared to other games like civ 5 where tech is everything. Sure army sizes still win wars but its nice to know that someone who invests heavily in magic isnt screwed because their army is less developed. The combat is very tactical too because you can have multiple squads surround a location. Up to 6 squads can surround a target (with each squad having a max of 6 units.) This can lead to some battles of epic proportion! i can gladly say that the money spent was well worth and would really recommend this game to fans of 4x strategy games that have a huge amount of depth to them!
