Just finished a 16 hour playthrough from start to finish as Augustus, Rome -> Ming China -> Meiji Japan and this is why im recommending AGAINST buying this game.

The game simply isn't finished. Wait a few months. From the obviously lazy UI to more simple things like the first railroads showing up in German despite my language being English. The Naval Commander having the same text as the Army Commander. Units and city states/Ind Peoples sometimes sticking around after you defeat them, the LAG in the modern Age (i have a 3080 and a 5800x)...

I cannot in good confidence recommend this to anyone in the current state it is. Wait for updates that make the game as good as a game that costs ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS should be, and not just lazy slop pushed by devs to meet a deadline.

EDIT: 3 games in, everything i said still stands, i found even more bugs. Just hold off on buying the game till they fix them

Good game, crashes allooot tho. still alot of bugs hopefully gets better soon.

Truly amazing, could use a couple bug fixes but the game was awesome.
