- Forces you to make an account before getting into the game
- Forces tutorial on you before you can even reach your settings, you cannot even leave or skip the turorial
- Aggressive monetisation, characters cost 10 usd of in-game currency to buy each
- The presentation is very plastic and corporate. Even the music is soulless.
- The game plays incredibly floaty, imprecise, and slow.
- Character balance is completely and utterly broken, I won a game as Shaggy by mashing my aerials until they were dead
- The game is online-only with no way to play offline

I'd unironically recommend Brawlhalla over this game, if you really wanted to play a free to play platform fighter.
