I like the game a lot. But it will need further updates. If you like these games (esp PVP), and you have the money, its worth buying it.

If you are not sure and can wait, wait for a discount or wait for further updates.

-Base game is good and fun as is
-Enough variety with troops and maps. (for current launch)
-In the 46h played so far, I feel like almost all battles played have been unique. And in no way I have played all the units yet.

good to know:
-Pvp focused RTS (personally I barely touched campaign,)
-only US and Russia factions are in the game currently
-You need a beefy pc to run everything on high quality settings. (minimum recommended settings is really the minimum)
-You will make mistakes the first few matches, and your teammates will cry about it

i'd say, just start doing online quick matches, get to know the game. don't let pvp or online in general hold you back as almost no one yet really knows whats going on yet.

I do miss some basic functionalities like:
-reconnecting to game when it crashes. (which makes some games be a 4v5 or worse from the loading screen)
-ranked matches (especially because it is PVP based, but it would need a larger player base for it)
