Without trying re-iterating what others have said in much better words, this is a very enjoyable game for both solo and co-op. There's an initial learning curve to the game (even the lowest difficulty can feel very hard at first) but there's plenty of people and resources willing to help you learn the game and get through the bitter losses. Developers also listen to a lot of feedback, which is always appreciated; as of this review, they have announced they'll be addressing complaints surrounding multiplayer scaling, which is a common critique of the game and probably bounced a few people off from initial experiences. Their willingness to listen to player feedback is what made me leave this review in the first place.

Even so, it's a game that emphasizes learning through repetition and experimentation. There's no over-arching upgrade system between runs, other than unlocking new talents (which are drawn from a random pool during runs), so the only thing between you and a potential victory is knowledge and execution. Don't feel dissuaded by initial losses. If it starts to frustrate, come back to it a day or two later and you'll notice gradual improvement in the way you approach running a game.

Three campaigns, Alien, Marine, Predator. Their story is on the same planet and is interconnected with eachother. They could have tweaked melee fights, since those are very fast-paced and hard to keep track of, which makes you disoriëntated sometimes. Fighting with guns is pretty standard, while Predator is game-breaking in servers. Graphics are good, but not over the top. Just a hint, this game is not VAC secured, which means cheaters might appear from time to time to ruin your day. Since there are not much new players, higher ranks often dominate servers. The game is very fun to do, especially with friends. I give it an overall 7.5
