I played this game for the first time when the demo originally released, and I remember absolutely falling in love with it. So when I came back home today and found out the game had just released, I was ecstatic !

The gameplay is super fun, the atmosphere (both visual and auditive) is amazing, and the base songs are really neat. Sure, the game may be a bit short, but it's infinitely replayable and the gameplay is addictive.

Also, I had no idea I'd enjoy playing my own songs so much. This is the first time sort of feature manages to catch my attention.

Overall, I'd say this is just an extremely fun game to play, both in short and long sessions. For its price, I that's a steal ! (and I'm not even a fan of that type of game). I can't recommend this game enough :)

About the game :

You can finish all of the story line in around 4 hours (maybe 5), most of the time you'll spend is actually on the very last chapter. If you want to complete it 100%, you'll have to spend around 7 hours according to "How Logn to Beat" as well as my own experience.

It doesn't have much replay value, but it is a great game. I'd recommend to buy it on sale personally.

I playtested Blasterbeat some time before the official release, so this mini-review will reflect on the quality of the game at that point in time.

Please keep in mind that the game is subject to change, so as the developpers keep on improving the game and I play it some more, I will likely update this review.

Gameplay :
At first it's a bit hard to aim if you're not used to 3rd person shooters, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.
It can be hard to hit at the rhythm of the song depending on the track you choose, but you can keep on clicking and your gun will still shoot at the rhythm of the song, which lets you focus on your aim and movements.
I wish the game was a bit more fast-paced / action-packed as it can definitely feel a bit slow at times, however, the hoverboard and dash help reducing that feeling.
After some time playing, I realised you could pick up special weapons on the ground depending on the map, which was a pretty good surprise. They are stronger than the base ones, but have a time-limit to balance them.
The main issue for me is that during certain parts of the songs, the rhythm stops and you can only use your swords. While you can use it to retreat and heal yourself, I think these are a bit boring.
This is a pretty fun game to play with your friends.

Sounds :
The OST's are a mix of synthwave and drum & bass, which go along well together and feel coherent with the game. I think they are really cool !
As for the sound effects, there's nothing particularly wrong with them, but I believe they lack impact. I wish they were a little more punchy (especially for the sword slash).
Thankfully, this will be worked on in the near future.

I talked about the game with one of the developpers, and I can say that I'm excited for its future. New features, quality of life improvements...
Most importantly, the devs are open for suggestion. For example, they quickly added a keyboard switch before the early access release for all the Azerty players out here (which is really cool). They will also let you custom your keybinds later on.

Overall, I'd say it's a very promising game and already very good quality for an early access game. I haven't encountered a single glitch so far either. I'll definitely keep up with the game's development :)

Also, fun trivia fact ! The original trailer had a spelling mistake (wrong "your"), which I found unironically funny.

Anyway, bring the boys in VC and try the game out !

Absolutely do not buy !

The game is literally dead. There's like 2 active servers that you can't even join, and when you can finally find one, you can't even deploy and have to leave back to the lobby.

I thought the game had a big playerbase due to the 5k active players, but no, it's a wasteland. I played for around 1 hour, 10 minutes was doing the tutorial, and the rest trying to join a lobby. I haven't succeeded a single time !

If you want to play a BF game, go get Battlefield 5, because at least, there's a game to play. This one is a waste of 80gb >:(

Need for Speed : Most Wanted 2012 is a pretty decent game. The reason why so many people hate it is because it's not the same as the 2005 Most Wanted game. Here, I will list the good points and the issues I have with this game :

Pros :
- Really cheap.
- Visually beautiful, specially for a 2012 game.
- Doesn't need a great PC to run.
- Good variety of cars and the map is big enough.
- Doesn't crash.

Cons :
- Made by EA (too many DLCs).
- Handling could be better.
- No car customization.
- Can be a bit frustrating.

That's a very fun game, it will take me some time to finish it so that will likely be the game of the summer holidays for me.

But here's the thing : back then, I had the cracked game : It was a fun experience as a kid (finding cars, racing, beating Most Wanted cars...). That's what I was expecting when I bought the game. Boy I was wrong.
Back then, there were no DLCs in the game, but now it's filled with them. Every 2 minutes, I find a new cool car to try out, turns out it's a DLC one. I find a new area to explore : "Oh oh, this is a DLC Area, very fun !"
I get triggered because of the abundance of these. This is an eight year old game, you could include the game with all the DLCs in a package, make it a bit more expensive and get more money. Why do you have to make me suffer ?!

Anyway, that is my biggest complaint about the game. I'll still recommend it because it's quite cheap and it's worth the 5/10$ it costs :)

I bought the first game this week. I liked it so much that I ended up buying the second game as well.
Spoiler alert : This game is so good I spent the whole day beating it.

So, Hotline Miami 2 has the same gameplay as the previous one. There are more weapons, and with the difficulty being increased, you'll have to build strategies around them.

There are multiple storylines, also you might not understand everything that's going on. I recommend checking the wikia to fully understand the plot.

You can expect at the very least 7 or 8 hours of enjoyment on your first playthrough.

Some levels are quite difficult, but beating them is really rewarding.

This game has even better soundtracks than the previous one (some of the best OSTs I've heard in a game). There's a level editor which expands the game's lifetime.

Some people will complain that at one point, the game takes a turn, and that this game deserved a way better ending than it did, but in the end, it was all worth it.

Great game, I would recommend it to anyone. Prepare yourself though because this is can be reeeeeally hard xD

I've first heard of Hotline Miami when I played a "Newgrounds Madness" remake of one of the levels.
I really liked the gameplay, which is why I tried the game.
This is by far one of the best games I've played. For this price, only a few games can rival it in terms of quality.

The gameplay is really fun, the variety of weapons makes it even better, the story is fairly simple (it might still confuse you at times though).
Some levels are a bit hard, but damn did I feel good when I finally succeeded.

The game is stylized, so you don't feel like this is 7 years old.

This is a unique and amazing game. I pretty much spent the last few days beating it and the 2nd game. I would recommend it to anyone ^^

Bon, j'admets que cet opus de Trackmania date un peu et qu'il est moins complet que ses successeurs (ce qui est pardonnable vu que le jeu est gratuit).
Cependant, le jeu a assez bien vieilli.

Simple à prendre en main, graphismes pas mauvais pour un jeu de plus de 10 ans, et le point positif est que malgré que le jeu solo soit court, il y a le mode multijoueur qui est encore pas mal joué !
On peut aussi construire des terrains (bien évidemment) ce qui peut nous occuper un certain temps.

Et, si vous êtes franchement chaud, vous pouvez tentez de grimper dans le classement de votre région voire même de votre pays, c'est cool non ?

De plus le jeu est gratuit, que demandez de plus ?

EDIT : Le jeu ne fonctionne pas sur mon nouveau PC, c'est le seul point que j'ai à lui reprocher :)

At first, I didn't like this game. I felt like it was a boring rip-off of Smash Bros, but in the end, I quite liked it.
This game is a free addicting game with a cool community.

Geometry Dash is a really good game.

Everybody knows that this game is easily hacked (rip rubrub) but still, it's an interesting Die and Retry game ! I started playing in 2015 on a cracked version to be honest but after I took a look at the game, I knew I had to buy it :D That's why I got it on steam and android c:

Of course it takes time to improve at building and playing, but, if you are able to wait and improve, you will really find an amazing game !

The community is not that bad and this game can keep you entertained.
