So what's Battle for Blood - Epic battles within 30 seconds!?

Geez, trying saying that five times quickly. Anyway. Battle for Blood is a match 3 game in which you must guide your forces of good against the forces of evil and triumph, and stuff. Yeah, memorable stuff I know.

You are given a small variety of units at first. As each match starts you'll notice that each gem except for the silver gem that just gives you ingame currency equates to one of the unit types you've deployed in battle. Every time you match 3 or more of those units, they'll show up and do battle for you. Your job is to either choose carefully and strategically in a set number of turns which units you think will do the best job (or which ones you can field since RNGesus said so) or just go ham and in a limited timeframe, match as many units as you can.

The game can have some ridiculous difficulty spikes which will either make you groan in frustration or look up a guide and see where best to spend your currency so you can grind less. You'll still grind, mind you, if you want to get to the end, because if you pay close enough attention, Battle for Blood has microtransactions.

I can't imagine who in their right mind would pay for this, but if they keep coming, then surely, someone must be willing to pay. But in case that's you, good reader, let me tell you this! Your wallet can stay safe, and live to see a potential Steam sale on a better game than this, for you do not need to spend a single penny to beat Battle for Blood. You may need a lot of patience though, and whether you're willing to give that is really up to you.

Verdict

Game looks like it belongs on a mobile and has the gall for microtransactions!? Stay away! Stay away from this travesty!
