I absolutely love this game and the workshop modding community behind this game is absolutely fantastic. Tho i do have a few notes
- If your waiting for it to go on sale, don't. The devs (and i agree with them) have stated they will not be doing sales and don't intend to. This is me saying the next part; sales can make or break a game. Their good for getting news about yourself out there, but they also invite a lot of freeloaders or people who just want to complain about every little thing (even tho they got it a lot cheaper than others) into reviews and the general community. That and most sales i feel are unfair to those who paid full price for it. Either way, for 35$, this game is def worth it, if your into this kind of game.
- this doesn't natively have multiplayer. There is a mod on the workshop you can get that does let you play with friends in a multiplayer scenario, but there are still issues with it, imo, and it does have issues supporting certain mods (will desync if you don't know what your doing).
- The base game is alright for light pc's, but if your playing modded its not the easiest to play (if you have a potato pc, i don't recommend this too well, unless you want to test your strength)
- Most things in this are NOT meant to be done in 2 minutes. Everything here is meant to take time. If your looking for a building game where you can skip thru every other build state, turn back around. There is a speed control button that skips between 1x, 2x, and 4x, but thats about it and in my case isn't preferred in making sure things are running smoothly
Now that all can be considered me bashing the game for having a few things missed and shouldn't be played, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Imo this game is very well thought out and absolutely wonderful for the abilities we have now. I don't know too many games that hit my colony survival crave as well as able to cater to most issues that a starting out colony would have (easy to catch diseases when having open wounds, etc). Think the only issue i have is that the diets isn't as detailed as it should be (you have to eat certain foods and watch your vitamin levels, grow certain crops to accomodate those needs, etc)

Space engineers has a lot to offer you. It also allows you to let your creativity flow. If you are someone who has a decent computer and want to build or explore or fight, you should definetly check this out.

This is a very involved strategy game. This may look like a game that is from 2012 that has no right to be anywhere near 2020s standards, but imo its strategy, community, and base concept make up for that. And have you seen any other star wars/strategy game that is as in depth as this?

Insane game and a very wide range of mods. if you like building and fighting enemies and trying to survive this is your game. Do not expect incredible graphics. its a little blocky and it will bother you a little bit. but i think you'll have to worry about the native bugs too much to notice it.

In my opinion this is a wonderful building ship/ fighting game. this is a great game.
