I remember playing the Shareware of Quake back in 1997 from PC Gamer, so for nostalgia I bought the Quake Remaster. The game plays excellent and I can definitely see why it was such a great game back then, and is still a great game today.

Closest thing we'll ever get to a Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3. And it's free! (but honestly it shouldn't.)

I highly recommend the campaign, and slightly recommend the multiplayer. The campaign is amazing, and although the story could be a bit better, the gameplay feels great. It's good to be Chief again.

The multiplayer also returns back to the more original roots of Halo as an arena-based shooter with no starting loadouts and all weapons spawning in as pickups. While the gameplay is fun and fastpaced, the unlock and XP system still needs some work, and the store is absolute garbage at the moment. Hopefully 343i fixes the store and it's monetization someday.

It's Halo. Back on PC. Enough said.

Bought this game when it was 99 cents. And boy was it a great purchase. The game is a fast-paced 3rd person shooter. The graphics, art style, and music are amazing. The levels are all what you would expect from a plastic toy soldier perspective.

When I first tried this game, there were a few servers up and running with roughly about 10 of them having people playing. Hopefully this game catches on and more people will play it.

If you never played the original Half-Life and want to but can't stand its dated graphics, than this is the game for you! Black Mesa is an almost perfect recreation of Half-Life. Most of the levels are true to the originals in both design and layout. Graphics have been vastly improved.

All that the game needs now is for Xen to be completed, but that should be soon...
