Normally I like to do pro-con style but there is no such major con in this dlc.

The price is very good. I think its culture is well-established. The feeling it gives and its mechanics match. It is quite fun. On top of that, 2 tomes, 2 forms etc. It clearly deserves its price.

I am coming to my only problem. I will explain it briefly. In this culture, you need to place a city near the "special tree" that is randomly generated on the map. But the problem here is that the game's random map creation is quite bad. Normally it does not affect the player but now that the culture is focused on it, you are affected. Sometimes you cannot find a tree nearby in the early game, which is very important to place a city in the early game, sometimes it spawns in the corner of the map. This needs a small fix. Other than that, it is one of my favorite dlcs. It is worth the price. It goes on sale often anyway.

There's not much to talk about, but let's go in order,

Pros;
+ 4 new tomes. There's no need to comment here in general. The more, the better.

Neutral;
+ 2 new forms. Aesthetically, I think it looks good. The aesthetic design of the monkey and oni forms is good, in my opinion. The minus is; we can't make an Asian-style dragon form, another minus is that there are no western-style ogres. When you ask me what an Ogre is, I think of a pot-bellied wild ogre. They call this form an ogre, but it's just an oni. I wouldn't have that much of a problem if they changed it to oni.

Cons;
Culture. It's too simplistic. There's already a more dynamic version of this, High culture. Let me tell you about the game mechanics of the Oathsworn culture, the sub-culture you choose has rules, if you play by these rules, you collect points. When you reach a certain limit, you get a buff.

High culture already does the same thing better. If you play high culture, you can decide in the game which one you want to be, good or evil. But if you choose oathsworn, you have to go in one direction.

If the main focus of the dlc was not culture, I would recommend it because of the 4 tomes, but since they gave such a simple culture as the main focus of the dlc, I don't recommend it. Wait for a discount.

I know this may trigger some people but hear me out. The first season got one more dlc and cost less money. So if you have less money to spend on games. Skip this dlc for now. Honestly, it's not worth the price. Buy something else. Everybody makes game and i dont give ♥♥♥♥ about developers. I am just normal gamer who likes the play games, so i care about me and other gamers. So if we talk about only price point i think its not worth it.

But...

If you have no interest in other games or if u play aow4 most of the time, get the 2. expansion pass. That's the only reason why I bought this dlc.

Pros;
The arrival of the Eldritch Sovereign ruler reduced the wizard king influnce. So we can say with this dlc, we have new mage ruler variety. Eldritch Sovereign ruler type is kinda long-range mage-support mix. It's fun to play and its add some depth to the game.

Umbral Abyss and Umbral dwelling. New map layer is being added. Although it partially disrupts the balance of the game, I am open to such innovations that add depth. In the new map layer, there is evil ctuhlu style dwelling. If you serve to him you can get magic, transformation etc. from them for a price or you fight.

2 form, 2 mount and monters etc. more variety is good. Same goes for the 3 (4) tomes.

Neu;
Story missions. Honestly, I think this was my favorite story so far. But I don't want more story to be made. I would like it more if more game mechanics type content was added to the game. This is my personal taste, so it's up to you. But I prefer the sandbox rather than reading two extra texts.

Con;
Cosmic Happenings. Yeah i dont know why they add this. RNG GOD EVENT. You know, it adds chaos to the game. If you're playing with a friend, "what might make one happy might not make the other happy" kinda event. Sometimes it increases the difficulty, sometimes it decreases. The only good feature is that you can turn it off before the game starts XD
I think this is what came to their mind when they thought of adding a feature that wouldn't be a burden to them.

Conclusion;
Let's stop this mocking and get to the summary. I think it's the most different dlc in the first season. It has the most content among them. I think it's one of the dlcs that should be purchased.

However, a major problem is growing in the game. Diplomacy. As in dwelling, the interactions are quite limited. Take the magic ball and love me or kill 5 people and love me type interactions are boring. Of course, this is not related to the dlc.
But instead of adding Cosmic Happening, a big 10-15 round Umbral dwelling invasion type event could have been much more fun. Missed opportunity. But still worth it.

Kısacası bu türde bunun gibi oyun bulması zor oluyor genelde. Sadede gelirsek oyun mekaniklerini düzgün kurduklarından dolayı oyun güzel işliyor, arada bazı problemler yok değil. Örneğin şehir kalıntılarını yok edememek, vassalların aşırı pasif kalması gibi sorunları getirdikleri updatelerle çözdüler. Hala ara ara saçma mekanikler olsada oyunun geneli tıkırında gittiğinden görmezden gelinebiliyor. Güzel oyun kısacası.

Yav kardeşim oyun geç tarihlere varmadan kasıyor birde gece gündüz ekleyen aklınızı...Bu victorianın dlcleri kim planlıyorsa ödül vermek lazım. Bu kadar boş nasıl düşünüyor mk, şu aklı bana monte etseler memlekette mutlu mutlu dolaşırım.

Cpu problemini çözmeden istersen en iyi oyunu yap. Hoi4 bile oyun sonlarında patlıyor, birde iyileştirdik muhabbeti yapıyorlar. Tamamen boş bir dlc de eklemişler, sıradaki asıl dlc de patlarsa imperator:rome'dan sonraki diğer bir fiyasko olma yolunda ilerliyor.
