An excellent remake of an already excellent game. It's tough, but fair. Do yourself a favor and pick this up. Well worth the price!

Edit: Also pick up Risk of Rain 2. It's very good.

Amazing spritework, amazing soundtrack by Tee Lopes, amazing 6-player action. If you haven't bought and played it yet, how come? Do it!

As an aside, I could easily see DLC packs being released for this game to add new characters like Usagi Yojimbo and Karai.

EDIT: Called it with the DLC adding Usagi Yojimbo! Now, let's see if one of the other characters they teased is Karai...

This game is excellent! Play through it without mods first, then add a few and start some new worlds and characters. I recommend Thorium and Magic Storage, personally.

Playing with others is also good fun.

This game scratches that beat 'em up itch so good. People may cry about how tough and grindy it is, but that's exactly the way the original game was. It may have some bugs here and there, but the devs are releasing a steady stream of patches to correct those bugs. This game really shines when played with at least 1 friend and the friendly fire option turned on.

Overall, well worth the purchase, even at full price.

This game just gets better and better with each update! The countdown to the next update on the home screen really helps and shows that the developers care about their game and improving it.
