Space Marine has crossed the Rubicon Primaris and came out faster, stronger, and better than its predecessor. The game is optimized, fun, and has more co-op replayability out the gate than the original out the gate. Viscerally satisfying combat continues to be the flagship feature of the game, with every single weapon having a punch that's hard to replicate in other horde shooters at the scale of Space Marine 2.

A refreshing entry into the series and the genre, Age of Empires IV is a reminder that RTS is dying by choice of various developers, not by lack of ability to produce a compelling, modern entry.
