From what I have played so far, it is nice. The mechanics are sweet and most things make sense in game without you needing to look up a guide. And even though you repeat maps and use the same towers, it never gets boring, at least not to the point where you stop playing for a large while. It's addictive, and if you find it on sale, pick it up, because the sale prices are quite low. I got my copy for $0.99, so it doesn't hurt to try.
