This game is only multiplayer. They just kinda throw you into it and there aren't a lot of servers. I would have loved to get familiar with the controls. The playerbase isn't large enough to make it worth it and it's nearly a dead game.

Now requires 3rd party authentication through epic game store. Not worth the annoyance

Early Access Review
Good for aim practice, lots of varieties of games and specific components of aim. The game is updated regularly and people post custom maps and scenarios. I don't always have a lot of time with games so this helps to keep my aim relatively decent (not great) with quick sessions that I can easily walk away from. Time commitment for most scenarios is 1 minute and even a 15 minute session can help maintain skills. There are other aim trainers out there but this one is pretty dang good.

Bugged out AI in later games. Very grindy. They tried incorporating a card system into it which doesn't really work. Can't play through on easy because the bots get stuck. End up grinding for hours on a single chapter. Not worth the money. I literally uninstalled it after 8.5 hours of play. I might just be complaining but when you sink two magazines into one of the enemies then one of the AI gets stuck it sucks. I don't like the card system for the replay value.

If you buy this be prepared to lose constantly versus people who have learned the mechanics of the non standard characters. You only get 3 characters to start with and at first I thought it was just because I sucked at the game mechanics but not being able to counter because the speed of attacks on other characters is literally faster than your character can respawn left a bad taste in my mouth. On top of this is the constant push for upgrades and match making system which reliably had me going against people with a "similar skill level" which isn't based on time played but on specific character sets. I have no intention of sinking time into a game where there are like 3-4 characters which dominate because of their fighting characteristics. Maybe I should have learned a bit more in the tutorials or whatever but the bias towards the unlockable characters reminds me of grinding in other games rather than being a truly competitive title with good balance. I thought the game play was good when playing single player then was sorely disappointed with multiplayer. Save your money and go for something that may actually be balanced. The double sign in using ubisoft also rubbed me the wrong way but I guess it somewhat makes sense since it is cross platform. If you want to get good at it I'd suggest other competitive games.
