This game is interesting. I got this with reading the mixed reviews, and I still am enjoying it, but only because I can look passed the bad. It nails the environment of a zombie apocalypse quite well. Its perma death for now (until summer update supposedly). The biggest flaw is the random zombie spawning. I get it, you wanna keep the players engaged because who wants to loot houses quietly and alone for the first 10 mins. But you also can't have zombies spawn in a house that you ALREADY CLEARED. It feels unfair for checking all rooms to make a place clear. Zombies will also constantly take pot shots at you, even when you think you're a good distance from one, you'll still get hit. Supplies are plentiful at least.

This game may not be for you, and if you THINK you'll like it, pick it up on a sale and play for 2 hours, and refund if it's not for you. I like this game. I did refund it once, and got it on a sale a second time. It takes a few matches to really get into a rythm, but once you start to understand the game, it does become a bit easier.

This game has quite the chops for early access, and i've had it before it was renamed to 5K. The gunplay is just so incredibly satisfying. I will hop on in the wave gamemode just to mess with the guns because they feel so good. The main story they have right now is pretty interesting, and am excited to see what new scps will be coming in the future. Its a very good coop game as well.

Missing Duke from payday 2

Very cool game! Obviously takes inspiration from bloodborne, but also a good amount from Sekiro, which I wasn't expecting, but it works in the games favor. Definitely recommend if you're a souls-like fan.

PSA: Game is fun as ♥♥♥♥ already. It is dumb that the devs don't have an FOV slider in the game, but the solution is to download a program called Flawless Widescreen. Fixes the problem pretty much immediately.

POST GAME UPDATE: Review will stay positive. The combat is very fluid and fun, the music is amazing with tons of different styles of song, and the story is pretty good, but brings nothing new to the table. The biggest complaint I have is that sometimes dialogue will be cut off when you walk into another room with something scripted, or more important dialogue. I played with the english dub, and the lines in the beginning are somewhat cringe-worthy, I found it grew on me quite quickly, and found myself laughing at his "Don't give a ♥♥♥♥" attitude and dialogue lines. Will do another play through and will return for DLC.

Edit 2: Since the latest patch, you do not need to use flawless widescreen anymore. They have added an FOV slider.

This game is everything I could have wanted in this style of game. Super aggressive combat, a nice town builder, and an amazing art style. I'm not usually one for these sorts of games, but as soon as I saw the trailer almost a year ago, I knew i'd love it. And here we are.

(P.S. The soundtrack is god tier.)
