Suppose that you were sitting down at this table. The ice cream is in front of you, would you eat it quickly or slowly? Would you eat it quickly by biting it? Or slowly by licking it? Usually you would lick it. That is 'correct' too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who eats his or her own ice cream first.' Yes? If the first one eats their ice cream quickly, then there's no choice but for others to also eat their ice cream quickly. The same goes for eating slowly. Everyone else will eat their ice cream slowly, because they have no other option. This is 'society'.

To be fair, you don't need to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is subtle at times but it is still filled with jokes for casual viewers. There is no need to have a grasp of physics theories as most jokes are based on the In universe physics established by the show. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, that Rick did justify in the episode in which he turns into a pickle, but the other characters are also right in resenting his negative outlook. People who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE people with different tastes. I laugh at most of the show's jokes and think that the show can be really smart at times but I can understand why some people don't like it.
