It's like modded minecraft but good

Experience grew worse as the game progressed. Multiple visual gags are ruined by the graphical "enhancements". Glass is nearly impossible to see details through, so the projector scenes and the parts where you see the test chambers from the other side of the glass are completely indecipherable. During the final act of the game, portal-able surfaces can be so indistinguishable from non-portal-able surfaces that I constantly found myself trying to put portals where they couldn't go; and I've played through the original version more times than I can count.

Lastly, and I cannot stress enough how insulting this is, the game ends with an RTX 4090 ad inserted into the final cutscene, then, instead of the iconic, ESSENTIAL credits sequence playing, the game just crashes to desktop. At least on my hardware, this happens consistently.

This thing is FILLED with NVIDIA ads and junk littered throughout the game. References to what they're working on, what tech they used, etc. The whole experience feels like an ad. And not an especially good one. It has me impressed with the technology, which I suppose was the goal, but it did not have me impressed in terms of attention to detail or art direction. This does not have me eager to see more of these experiments from NVIDIA.

Not my favorite Souls game, but excellent nonetheless, and a a true Game of the Year contender

Just an extremely relaxing experience. Dev keeps adding content. Money well spent
