Dark Souls II is probablly my least favorite of the series, but it's still a fantastic game. The only parts I didn't like about it were soul memory, and the slightly odd level design. Some people even explain that as your character forgetting parts of their journey to the destination. It's kinda lazy, but I can't think of a better way to express that ♥♥♥♥. The soul memory I just can't forgive because I loved to Burg Bully in the first Dark Souls... Because I'm an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥..

Aside from that, I still think anyone wanting to play the series shouldn't skip it. It wasn't a bad game, but for me, it was a bad Souls game. I really enjoyed the lore behind the Emerald Herald. The dual wielding was phenomenal. The bosses were terrifying, story and all. I even have more hours in it than Dark Souls 3
