I've never seen a house flip but here is the 2nd edition of it.

Now that I've beaten the game and spent roughly 56 hours in the game. I thought I would write what I thought about the game. Probably will go back and get the rest of the achievements. But onto the review.
I rate the game a "7" or "7.5"
Would I recommend it to another person? That depends. Do they have a decent system that can run it?
Because even with my system, it did struggle slightly in cities but not as bad as people were complaining about. I did not give or take points based on that. Though I know others can/will as it can take away the fun from people.

Micro-transactions: This was another thing that soured peoples taste for the game. I do agree it can take away the fun IF and only if the items are available through real money. But seeing as I won't be buying any and don't even look at it. I don't care for it. Do I justify this action to let them? No, but again it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. So no points deducted here either.

The Review: The story isn't that bad, I never finished or got too deep in DD1 so for me I actually enjoyed it. The lack of fast travel except for Ferrystones at first was annoying because of my characters level, gear and vocation level. But as you get stronger. With the goblins, harpies and such. You actually feel like you are getting stronger. This was a nice touch to the game. The quests were a little annoying as they made you go back and forth but with certain equipment, skills, etc. You could just use an oxcart to travel and doze off. Hopefully getting there without a fight. There were some quests I missed as I moved to the next chapter/area. The game is very unforgiving in this manner as you can miss quests and some NPCs can die. The only way to fix this is using a wakestone (if you know they are dead). Other than that there aren't that many quests. After you get further in the game you will realize that the game is rather short. For example, I spent most of my time exploring and trying to level/do side quests before the main one. If I had focused on the main quest only I would have probably been done sooner. There were quite a few challenging monsters, my nemesis was probably the Golem but my most feared was the Dullahan (Headless Horseman)

Pawns Being able to get other pawns from online was a nice as you could search for specific class, race, skills. and balance the party so everyone compliments each other. They also help find Seeker Tokens. The annoying part of pawns was every few seconds, they would mention they see a ladder and wonder where it goes. (Nor did I care), Also some would just want to run and take you to the next quest location even when you are doing something else. Though I did stumble upon some very questionable names and no ability to report the pawns.

The Verdict So based on it not having that many quests, being short if only doing the main quest and it does seem to drag near the end. That is why I gave it a 7 to 7.5
Hopefully they fix the fps issues.

What can I say, wow. It's an amazing game. Story is pretty well told. There were times I got stuck but in the end the story and everything from start to finish was amazing. I did hate the bear but I think the way it was done was done well since. It tugged at my heart strings in the end.
I would say the price is justified but I got it on sale. So if you like isometric point and click games which have an amazing story. This is a good one. I would try the others too. I believe one is still free to play.

Pretty cool

As a fan of previous star ocean games, I had to grab this one as well.
I will be rating this a Recommend/Thumbs up based on the game and what i've seen so far. There are issues but I am not rating on that.
Without going into it, I am playing Raymond, One of the two main characters you can choose from. For some reason I've got nostalgic vibes, like I felt some Star Ocean 2: The second story inspired this. But that could be me.
I've only had one crash but that was due to my pc getting too hot and not the game. One of the cutscene areas were blurry but it wasnt an end all and I've not had any problems other than that. Text is perfectly fine.
I'm sure once it gets patched, everyone can enjoy it. Sad to see it's mixed reviews though.
