janky, awful game, confusing game that can be fun

problem is NA and South American servers are mixed, meaning all you see in world chat is spanish.
And i'll just say, South American people are awful to play with in ANY game. I can't even begin to count the amount of matches I lost in League of Legends because they don't speak english and don't understand how teamwork, well, works.

And it's a zombie game, I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about going fishing, or hunting for food, or chopping down trees. I want to kill zombies. But no you'll be swamped with your typical Korean MMO quests of fish that and gather that and maybe kill a few mobs inbetween. And then you think oh I'll just join some event to get some action going but those also suck and give little explanation of what or why you are doing this. I think anyway, the screen is cluttered as ♥♥♥♥.

Cutscenes also suck with audio out of sync half the time.

But hey, the game let me name myself Bigboobs so thats a plus.

Game will probably be shuttered within a year tbh

A standalone expansion to Dead Island, a very janky, clunky hackslashing zombie RPG. I've played and beat both on console many times. And they're great, jank and all, and it already feels better on PC because I CAN TURN FILM GRAIN OFF. This expansion starts you off at level 14, or any level from whatever character you have to import, along with a new character to chose, who is quite fun to play. Follows the same formula as the base game, and is about just as long. Then you have NG+ and to max level a character it takes about 1 1/2, to 2 playthroughs. If you aren't getting it free like I did as I am writing this, it's worth 10-15 dollars (even less on sale) for the amount of playtime you'll get, and it has 4 player co-op. Really good game for zombie fans.

The game is kinda like Gothic, and it's clones: Janky, but fun. If you want "good" without jank go play Dying Light. Otherwise it's this and the basegame for zombie RPGs because there aren't many out there.

Not many bugs outside of getting trapped in weird areas sometimes and/or losing your weapon after you threw it, or something you don't really notice because you'll just assume thats the game being the game.

Conclusion: Dead Island, and Riptide, janky, yet good games. Worth a discount bin price, extremely worth if for free as of this writing.

An awful game. Buggy, unbalanced, cheating game. Probably one of the worst Civ games to be released. But what are you going to do? Go back to playing Civ 5? Which is also an unbalanced cheating game but isn't as buggy. lol

There is no substitute for Civ6. Games like it are either more complex, or less. The devs/publishers really lucked out being one of, if not the only, casual 4X games. Otherwise they wouldn't have such scumbag pricing or leave the game buggy and broken. Well broken on console, game was unplayable for around 2 years straight on console. Yes I bought this game twice, and on console I had to buy the base game and DLC SEPARATELY. What an awful studio, what an awful publisher. But like I said, no other game like it.

Two Worlds more like Jank Worlds amirite. Seriously if this game was released today it would be considered absolute garbage, but its from what, like 2009? Back then it was ok because reasons.

Fun game, basically a Gothic clone I think. As in you'll get assblasted by some mobs in one shot with no warning they could do that. The dialogue is campy and I have no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ the main story is, just that I have to go here and do that. The UI is awful and the combat is just mash attack.

So basically a mediocre janky RPG, but definitely fun. Worth it on sale.

Absolute astonishing game in more ways than one. Pretty sure you aren't gonna find a survival crafting zombie game like this. It's insane strolling into a town and being like oh ♥♥♥♥ I can go into all these buildings individually. My autism likes to make up the stories of what the survivors were doing in those buildings. Then the autistic joy of making some cabin surrounded by spike traps.

Only problem is the game runs like a dried out dog turd on a stretch of bad road.
My mid tier PC can keep around 60 fps with medium to low settings but it micro stutters a lot and just closing out of the game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem. Really wish you could put neutral ratings because that's whats this game deserves.

Let me write a review not drunk:

Copies Battlefield's usual system and setup, so not bad.
Problem is it also copies milsims like Squad and whatever is popular these days.
So its hectic nonsense going on all the time, good fun. Spam grenades and claymores since there is no grenade indicator.

Thats the problem though. This game has like no real direction (for now anyway). A milsim time to kill mixed with in with unbalanced class system is just bizarre. And A LOT of things are unbalanced and the game doesn't encourage milsim tactics and playstyles, it promotes zergrushing in and hoping you get lucky on one shotting the enemy first.

Fun though, worth 15 dollars I guess. But holy ♥♥♥♥.

Out of spite I alt tabbed to downvote this game because there is no option to turn off notification sounds ingame. No, I don't want to hear a DUN DUN soundbit because something across the map played. Like I lost out on something big when it was just the other Clam leveling up or something.

Also game is kinda mid because micromanaging (thats up to your opinion tho) and winter.
Because yeah, my food and happiness tanking sure do make for fun gameplay. Still a matter of opinion but thats up to you.

When I read forced PvP I thought ok I can get my fun out of it and learn the game before I get into that but nope its literally right out the gate. Just running through the swamp with my level 1 tier gear then get blasted by LMG spree and snipers from no where. Like who tf designs a game like that? No, it's not fun nor does it make for a "unique" game experience like I'm sure the game devs think it does.

Oh and all chat is practically spanish only. Its 2022 and they can't separate chats or servers by region LOL. Damn there's one literally the most simple way to fix this game. Separate servers by forced pvp or not. Simple as.

I don't know how its like Tarkov, I don't play bad games. But this is just 2d top down stalker, with even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stopping you from having fun. Currently stuck trying to kill 5 bandits for a quest, easy enough except the game is bad and you get gunned down instantly as so as you see one. No, thats not fun, thats not realistic and out of spite will give this game a thumbs down.
