I wanted to wait until I had at least a little time played before reviewing, so I'm sitting at 1,002 hours, awaiting the launch of Season 12.

It's fun. I like it, and I get a lot out of it, fun-wise. I think you might, too, so give it a whirl. It's totally possible to get into the game without spending a dime, too, if you're budget-conscious.

There are some toxic folks out there, sure, but that's to be expected in almost any community. Just be kind and it'll shine through. Really. It will.

Marvel Heroes (2015 will be changed to 2016 in the near future) is probably the best ARPG/Diablo-like game out there right now. And it IS Diablo-like because the lead designer is the man who designed Diablo II, so you can trust that it's going to live up to the hype.

Simply put, MH is one of the most heavily updated MMO-style games out there right now. There's a new playable hero released almost every month, there are team-up heroes (like companions) that are released almost as often, There's new content, quality-of-life changes, and balance patches all coming at least once a month. The new achievement system had been almost a year in the making, but it's in now and it's glorious.

This is also one of those games that you may see the DLC packs on Steam and think "NOPE! Too expensive for me!" -- that's not the truth of it. The Steam DLC packs are just bundles of stuff that anyone can buy a la carte in the G's store inside the game. There's no pay-to-win in this game, either. Pretty much all things that you can buy with real money can be bought with Eternity Splinters, which are an in-game drop that falls once about every 8 minutes of killin' dudes.
