fell through the stairs to the nightclub
had to reload after escaping the nightclub because the trigger didnt work and the quest didnt progress and a door didnt open
would have had to reload because the cantina didnt load in but i just chose to wait a few months to play again at that point

why do i have to put more work into fixing a seventy dollar triple A video game then my skyrim mod list?

the ♥♥♥♥ do you mean I'm paying for the *ability* to *unlock* the cosmetics? why am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paying money for it then? if they weren't paid cosmetics sure whatever but am I not paying money to just *get* them? Isn't that the whole idea?

In pure gameplay terms this game is literally perfect 10/10 but rk the servers are full to capacity and new people probably won't be able to play, to the point devs on twitter are recommending not to buy it. The instant this is fixed this review will turn positive.

This games great. Its not for everything, but something about the action of delivering and seeing infrastructure grow up larger and larger is just very satisfying.

The game is currently analogous to the first mass effect. This comparison is true in multiple ways.

For one, there's a heavy focus on your squad mates. You overtime increase your reputation with them, and eventually do quests to deepen your bond with them. You can have romances with some of them. They fight alongside you, and deepening your bond makes them better fighters.

But the true parallels to the first mass effect is in the symbolic. Greedfall's gameplay is enjoyable, but unrefined. What elevates it is the imaginative setting, which is conveyed through beautiful imagery, and its excellent writing. It is the kind of game that makes you want to do mundane quests due to the story context those quests exist in.

Greedfalls gameplay is highly enjoyable, it is just not as polished as gameplay focused games such as God of War. But the story elevates it to a wonderful game that might be my favorite of the year.
